Heart Shaped Fire: an mm shifter romance (Crescent Kingdom: Chambers Pack Book 1) Kindle Edition
Even if he discovers his lover isn't entirely human.
Heart-Shaped Fire is a M/M paranormal romance with a steamy, werewolf love story and an HEA. This story does not contain mpreg, omegaverse, or fated-mates (much love to stories that do!) It does have a super sweet couple who get thrown into a bit of excitement plus a twist on werewolves and marking their chosen mates.

About the authors
Connor Peterson has always found an escape in books. In elementary school, reading kept him out of trouble when he finished his classwork. In high school, he bargained with teachers not to confiscate his notebooks that ended up full of story prompts and character ideas. Now, he has a crippling coffee addiction and an obscene ability to recall song lyrics. Also, he writes books.
A fan of horror novels, superheroes, and video games, Connor writes urban fantasy with heavy romance tones. His stories are always lgbtq, usually steamy, and often poly. Bonus points for making it historical.
You can follow him on Twitter (@AuthorConnorP) and Facebook (@AuthorConnorP), where he actively avoids being on time for any of his deadlines.
P.W. Davies is the joint pseudonym of authors Connor Peterson and J.R. Wesley. They write steamy queer romance that may include hitmen or werewolves. Both authors met online and bonded over a shared love of comics, anti-heroes, and racy reading.

- Reviewed in the United States on April 25, 2021It was kind of ok what Edward did to Shawn but should have been explained about it. When he bit Shawn stopped the other pack from doing what they wanted to happen. Everything ended great! Couldn’t put the book down when I started reading, had to keep reading to see what happened next!
- Reviewed in the United States on August 17, 2019This was a great start to a new shifter/supernatural MM series in this book out couple is Edwin a wolfen and his human mate our couple meet at a coffee shop after getting too know one another they realize that their falling madly in love with each other . - Reviewed in the United States on November 19, 2018I have mixed feelings about this book. I expected more and thus was disappointed. There was a disconnect with the flow and the transitions. Which didn’t add and help the story but took away from it. The story itself was good and I liked it. I thought that the last half of the book was better than the first from a writing standpoint. The story is told from Shawn’s POV. I would have also liked it if the characters were developed more. I am glad that I read this book even though it didn’t entirely work for me. I voluntarily read an advance copy of this book for an honest review.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 15, 2018i loved this story. it was different and unique and funny.. it made me smile and made me sad.. it was well written and an awesome plot. it was a slow start but once it caught it took off and i had to turn the page as fast as i could to keep reading. loved it
- Reviewed in the United States on November 18, 2018Wow, what a fun read! Wonderful world-building, well developed characters and a great story-line. I enjoyed the writing and the flow of the story kept me reading from cover to cover.
Shawn and Edwin have a connection that is intense, intimate and inspiring. I loved how they grew together and found their own rhythm.
i thoroughly enjoyed reading this short story.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 21, 2018i really loved Edwin and Shawn. this was a really entertaining shifter story, full of action, love and some very sexy times. would def recommend this book.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 14, 2019Definitely not your average shifter storyline. Along with shifting there is a bit pf magic, though that element is only touched on and no detail is ever provided. The book ends on a positive note with no resolution for several of the story threads. It’s OK but I felt a bit abandoned at the end.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 20, 2019Could definitely use some more proof reading and editing, but the storyline was good. Nothing extraordinary or shocking, it's predictable and just like any other paranormal. I would have liked to fall in love with Shawn and Edwin more.
