About the author

I love to read and while I will read anything I can get my hands on, reading about vampires is one of my favorites. I cut my teeth on Anne Rice's Interview with a Vampire and then after a bit of a hiatus I rediscovered the genre through Charlaine Harris' Sookie Stackhouse series. I like a main character to have flaws and develop with the series. Cassandra starts off unsure of herself. As my paranormal series continues, she grows and matures. She makes mistakes and she tries to make up for them. I hope you dive into the world of Cassandra Myles, it's filled with vampires, werewolves, fae and even a few surprises.

- Reviewed in the United States on June 1, 2016I am in love with a Demon Hunter! Electa's writing grabs you up from the very beginning and takes you on a wild and twisting ride. Her characters are so real and relatable that when Cain takes Jael on a ride through Hell, you can actually feel as if you are there! This is an accomplishment that Very Few writers can lay claim to. I can't wait to read what comes next!
- Reviewed in the United States on October 8, 2016Graham's Heaven's Key illustrates the growing skill and quality of today's Indie writers. Her dialogue is punchy and quick, her mythos fun and diverse, and her characters sharp and very entertaining. Jael is a tough, flavourful, unapologetic hunter who immediately drew me in and made me want to meet her in real life. Graham's neatly constructed twist at the end was unpredictable and leaves the reader highly intrigued for the next book in the Demon Hunter series. This is a story of a resilient, evolving protagonist who makes mistakes and moves forward, and the reader can't help but follow enthusiastically. With Heaven's Key, Graham has established herself as a greatly skilled and gifted writer. A wonderful read. Highly recommended.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 26, 2017LOVED THIS BOOK!!!! An absolutely great story with my favorite kind of main character, a woman who is haunted by her past but uses it to her advantage in kicking demon butt . What a huge plot twist at the end to leave us hanging until book 2!!!
- Reviewed in the United States on December 9, 2016I'm not sure what I needed from the characters or the story per say but I needed more I know that.... If the scale for rating went from 1 to 10, I think I'd have given this anywhere between 5, 5 1/2 to maybe 6 stars.... Maybe.... I do know I feel Jael ( btw how do you pronounce Jael ? I keep thinking Jail ? But that doesn't sound quite right.... Anyway for me 143 pages just wasn't enough to tell /start Jael's story,I didn't feel like I started to get know or care about Jael til near the end sadly.... And what I did learn about her made me cry.... Damn, it explained soo soo much about her and yeah sure her secret/story isn't just something you pop off to just anyone (which made me kinda ticked off when I learned what I did about the one she told.... Don't wanna give anything away but Cole ? Cole is a damn hypocrite and a 1/2 ,always demanding her honesty .... Yeah right ;( I'm soo sure she's just gonna forgive and forget... Right after she knocks his block off.... I kinda liked Cain as well,by the end he started to remind me of Lucifer ( from the tv series) I really could see them getting on,Cain and the other Lucifer.... Wasn't happy when he tried to F her out of his w/2 women at once ( no details, thankfully) I'm funny about cheating, sure it wasn't technically cheating sure they soo aren't a couple yet and Jael is determined they NEVER will be and even though you know will be,chances are.... Once you learn about her past you'll know why Cain has a obstacle that charm or sex appeal just can't over come.... Well not by itself any way... Not a bad story over all, some really fun moments, especially a rather eccentric artist w/ghost " problem" .... But for m again the story just ran out of road before it should have,at 143 pages I just felt like I was just getting warmed up and it was over...
I look forward too reading more,I'm just wishing I'd discovered this a few stories in and maybe I'd have enjoyed this better...
Thank you 😉 I hope there will be more 🙃
- Reviewed in the United States on October 16, 2017Still awaiting a sequel.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 31, 2016Jael is special more than she knows. But as a Hunter of all things hellish (pardon the pun!). From
Demons to souls who haven't yet departed...she can handle them all.
With her new partner by her side. Jael admits to working better alone but the banter between the two is hilarious.
But of course there has to be a third wheel! Cain. From hell itself, he informs Jael of her ability (as Heavens Key and why she is so important in his plan to reign Hell) and also what he wants from her.
Excerpt:
...you will have your very own throne, right next to mine, and we will rule Hell together. I won't expect an answer this time. It is a big decision, but you will say 'yes' someday; you will come to see that it is your destiny.
Did I mention how seriously hot this book is? And very well done too! Despite there only being one seriously hot sex scene, the moments throughout the story were brilliantly placed.
Excerpt:
You'll see; ruling at my side is what you'll want. It's what you'll crave and ache for. Do you feel the heat between us, my hunter? It will grow and consume you until resisting me is no longer an option.
But what seems to be good Vs evil
In terms of men (Cole Vs Cain) is a difficult journey and one full of evil and uncovered past truths. What will both men do to keep Jael safe? Are they more similar than they think?
Excerpt
I knew in that moment, when her pain was my pain, that I would protect her with every power I had. She was meant to be with me...being together was something I wanted more than anything...
An astounding read which I flew through as I enjoyed every aspect. Gruesome too but seriously enjoyed. The killer twist left me open mouthed and desperate for more. What a start to a series - I can't wait to read more!
Final excerpt:
You aren't a lone hunter anymore, Jael. It's my duty to keep you safe. That's what partners do.

5.0 out of 5 stars An absolute page-turner
Heaven’s Key, an urban paranormal fantasy with a hard edge, introduces us to the character of Jael. Broken by her past, Jael’s present is filled with alcohol, attitude, meaningless sex, and destroying demons, all of which are things she is very good at, especially the latter. Into her life is thrust Cole, a younger man from a wealthy family with his own turbulent but luck-filled past.
Forced into a partnership by a mutual and extremely influential friend, the two must come to terms with what it means to have a partner in the line of demon hunting, and, just as things are going from bad to worse, onto the stage steps Cain, the son of Lucifer, with nefarious plans of his own that are all to do with Jael.
Perhaps it’s just the sort of person I am, but while reading Heaven’s Key I found it impossible not to like Jael. In fact, with each unfolding chapter, I loved her more and more. The book is an absolute page-turner filled with intrigue, hidden agendas, tension, and an atmosphere that rollercoasts through the emotions, rattling through disturbingly claustrophobic and plunging into sizzling hot rawness as Jael faces both physical and psychological battles not just on Earth, but also in Hell itself.
After reading Heaven’s Key, I am not only glad of the experience but absolutely looking forward to the second book in the Demon Hunter series. Don’t wait for the follow-up to come out; if you’re a fan of the genre (and even if you’re not) do yourself a favour and give this one a read. You’ll be glad that you did.

4.0 out of 5 stars A quick fun read!
I scored a free copy of Electa Graham’s Heaven’s Key from Amazon, the first book in her Demon Hunter series.
I just loved Jael’s sense of humour, attitude, and sarcastic nature, characteristics that snagged my attention from the start of the book. She had me chuckling one minute, and in tears at a turn of a page. I’ve already downloaded the second book in the series and looking forward to starting it tonight.

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant!
Excellent! Electa has started what I'm sure will be another great series of books. I loved the main character straight away! Her name is Jael and she is a hard-drinking, gambling, tough as nails female Demon Hunter! What more could you ask for? She may excel at drinking alcohol and card games but her real talent rests with hunting down Demons and kicking their ass! If you were a fan of Electa's first series of books you certainly won't be disappointed with this new collection. Go out and buy yourself a copy. Heaven's Key is a thrill a minute, Demon killing extravaganza!

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome start can't wait for book #2
Wow, I will admit, after falling in love with Cass Myles and her amazing wolves and vampires in the Blood and Loss series, I was a little skeptical about trying out this new series opener by this incredible author. I adored the brassiness of her main character Jael and the information surrounding different types of demons. Drawing you into the world of good and evil, not to mention a seriously sexy sidekick what more could you need? An amazing start to what looks to be another successful series for Electa Graham.
