When everything is going wrong what do you do? If your Shelby you go for a swim, in your clothes! Seriously sometimes you just need a change of pace and some new faces. A fresh start to recenter yourself. Meet Mac and his teenage son who he really just met a year ago. They need help finding their place in each other's lives. It's amazing the love you find when you stop reaching for what you thought you wanted. This story is all about what finds you when you open yourself up to the possibilities of really living in the present. It's a really beautiful story about found family, and hope. I have voluntarily left this review.

    Omg I think I'm in love. Mac 🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰 my new book, Love Affair. He was so sweet, loving, possessive, and just warms your heart. I loved this book so much! Some oaat details I wanted some more background but I was content with what we were given. I was hoping the next book would be with Macs BFF but it's not. Either way I enjoyed this writer and look forward to seeing what else she has to offer.

    What do I love more than a single dad romance? A grumpy single dad romance!

    Shelby and Mac were just too cute. And that grumpy, quiet, standoffish single dad? He has a dirty mouth on him!

    Shelby is a strong, independent, fierce boss babe! But even strong women reach a limit and need a break. Shelby has a mini breakdown and ends up in Mac's arms. Literally.

    Shelby and Mac save each other from things they had so bottled up they didn't even know they needed saving from.

    I love this little town, all of the supporting characters were well fleshed out and there is so much potential for additional books should the author be so inclined.

    With all that said, what started to grate on me was the constant reminder that Mac was such a big and tall guy. And that Shelby was shorter and "pudgy" for lack of a better word. It was repeated so often that I started to forget any other descriptors such as hair color, eye color, etc. The only defining qualities I can remember are big and tall & short and heavy.
