A definite must read🔥🥰❄️🥵
“Jack lived. He triumphed. He burned with an inner flame that drew me to him like I was a moth." "I've been waiting for you to kiss me since I was fifteen." "I reveled in the knowledge that he was mine and I was his. His to hold. Forever." Uuuhhhh....Jack and Beau are absolute perfection!! Their love for one another is beyond words. They spent so many years thinking that they couldn't have each other. Both pining after an unrequited love. One night changes all that. Their love is explosive, passionate, and oh so swoon worthy! They take their relationship to a whole other level and I am here for it!!! I love the fact that we get more of the family aspect in this book as well. Seeing Sascha, the Dads, and the other siblings is such a fun aspect to this book that I wasn't expecting. It definitely makes me want more of Bash and Rosie's story!!!!

I enjoyed this book as much as all the previous ones. Serena Akeroyd is definitely one of my favorite authors. I love the way she creates fun characters with lively interactions and realistic dialog. Jack's story was very exciting!

I loved visiting with the Dubois family once again, this time on their home turf. Jack had finally returned home after winning the F1 Championship, he's decided that he wants his best friend Beau and he wasn't going to take no for an answer.
Beau was going to skip the party and leave for London to get away from Jack, but that wasn't her style. Besides she was best friends with his twin sister's Bethan and Rosie. She left the circuit that Jack raced because she couldn't handle watching her best friend and the man she loved take the risks that he did each time he was on the track, cheating death, sometimes barely, she just couldn't do it anymore.
Jack loves Beau, but he and his family believe that she's gay, it isn't until he says that he loves hervand he'll never be able to have her that she tells him the truth.
This story has some funny conversations between Jack and Beau, and even his family. Devon cracks me up with the things he says and does in this book too. There's plenty of very spicy scenes with these two too!
Serena Akeroyd has managed to pull you into the story of the next generation of a favorite family of mine and has brought not only the original characters back in seamlessly but has pulled you in to the new gen and now you want more.

As someone who has watched people they love race I know exactly how Beau feels. You hold your breathe through it all.

Jack and Beau have danced the race track dance. The excitement of a win. The agony of a crash. The nerves at the starting line. Finally they dance to love. It took many years and misunderstanding to get there but when they do it’s for good!

Thank you Serena for this amazing story of friends to lovers!

Melt my heart! I am really loving the Quintessence Collection stories by SA. They are so sweet and romantic. I feel so happy and satisfied after reading them. They are chock full of swoon and the right amount of steam. Jack and Beau were too cute, BF to lovers.

Not gonna lie. I feel like this book was one big tease. Getting me all hyped for some Bash and Rosie. You sly minx you SA. I’ll just add their story to my future TBR. And don’t think you can get away without a Bethan story. Who the heck is this Matt character 🤔

    Fave quotes-

“Is Tin about to come in here?” Jack grated out, interrupting her. “How about Mom? The dads? How about the entire party comes in to break us up? We could tell the whole world you're Jacksexual, Beau. That'd shut them up.” - Jack

With the backlight of the fire surrounding her, and encompassed in its halo, she looked like an angel. My angel. Unforgettable. Memorable. I knew this moment would be stamped in my memory banks for as long as I lived. - Jack

“I don’t want to die, Beau. Not when I’m so ready to start living, and being with you is more exhilarating than any race—” I joined my mouth to his, unable to do anything other than kiss him. - Beau

His To Hold is the second installment of the Quintessentially Theirs collection from Serena Akeroyd. This book features Jack and Beau as our leading couple and what a couple they are. This book is a bit of a departure from Akeroyd’s usual dark and angsty reads but she shows she is more than capable of this task. This is a book your soul needs after a rough day, week, or year. Jack and Beau’s love is as easy as breathing for them and sometimes that is just what a reader needs. You will positively swoon over Jack and you will want to be best friends with Beau. This story is even more perfect because it is set at Christmas time and who doesn’t want to see our favorite Quints in the holiday spirit. His To Hold was like coming home when you didn’t realize you were homesick and meeting new friends once you got there. I will also say as a reader that I am desperate for Bash and Rosie’s tale and am begging Akeroyd to continue this generation of stories. Because if you loved the original Quints then you are going fall just as easily for their children. Oh, and this book contains an adorable Corgi so it gets even better!

There was A lot of inner dialect somewhat boring at times but the highs were high enough to keep me hooked

The Quintessence series had been one of my all time favorite series from Serena! I was over the moon when I found out she was giving the next generation their stories. I honestly didn't think I was going to love Jack's story as much as I loved Tin's story, but my heart is so full right now.

Jack and Beau have loved each other since they were teenagers but didn't realize it. No one knows them better than each other and you can see that as the story develops. It was such an easy transition from friends to being in love. In the tense moments, they knew how to give each other peace and laughter. Their home was always with each other and once they realized that, everything else was history.

In true Serena fashion, you get surprises and epic jaw dropping moments along with all the drool worthy steam. Jack and Beau were meant for one another and Serena delivers their story on a heart felt, juicy holiday platter! You will love it. ❤

Jack and Beau were impossible to put down! I was so excited for a next gen story from my favorite author and Serena did not disappoint! Especially after meeting Jack in His to Keep I was so curious for his story. His F1 racing career was not the only excitement, the main characters misunderstanding of their positions in each other's lives only makes for and angsty story and explosive joining once it happens.

I loved seeing Sascha and her men grown and as parents too. It absolutely warmed my heart ❤️ I really hope there is more to come in this universe!

Might be my favorite sports romance!

I absolutely fell in love with Beau and Jack! A misunderstanding is all that was keeping these two best friends apart but when they come together sparks fly. This was beautifully character driven which I love and I love more time spent with Jack's family.
Please everyone let Serena Akeroyd know we need Bash and Rosie's story now!

“He burned with an inner flame that drew me to him like I was a moth.”

I had no idea how much I needed Beau and Jack!

Childhood friends, to lovers, family intervention, loss, love. So much shared history. Throw in the drama of F1 racing, royalty, an amazing cast of characters from Quintessence, I loved this couple so hard.

“You were my balance. My equilibrium.”

The years wasted between them, crossed wires, misconceptions. Self doubt. These two were destined from the first day Jack laid eyes on Beau.

As with everything Ms. Akeroyd’s written I fell in love with the next generation from page one. I shed a tear for Bash. I know I need his story now more than ever.

What a wonderful story Serena has given us in His To Hold, book #2 in the Quintessentially Theirs series.

We met Jack briefly in his brother Tin's story, and here we learn so much more about the youngest Dubois.

Isabeau (Beau) Killian and her widowed father Julian end up living in a house on the Bishop Rosen estate in Surrey when he is employed as a Financial Manager by Andrei.

From their first meeting at age 14, we find out how Beau and Jack first met and how their friendship developed throughout the years.

Beau is at a loss in her life, mainly through grief and her seemingly unrequited love for Jack.

Jack, a champion F1 driver for the Sabre team appears to be on self-destruct mode taking high octane risks in this dangerous sport. Luckily we find out the reason behind his actions.

Due to a mistaken belief by the whole family and specifically Jack they remained in the friend zone...

... until the night of the party to celebrate Jack's Championship win, when all doubts are put to rest.

The family reaction to their budding relationship is hilarious, especially when they all turn up at the London townhouse... so funny!!

It is so good to meet all the greater Dubois family again.

There are lots of humorous moments, as well as angst, tears, drama, intrigue, twists, steam and of course, magical family dynamics.

This is such a lovely story and I do hope Serena continues to write more about this fascinating family. Loved it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Such a Heartwarming Sweet Bestfriends to Lovers!!!

I’ve thoroughly enjoyed reading His To Hold but it’s left me wanting Jack’s siblings stories, especially Rosie with Bash! Loved Bash so much!

    “You are my home, Beau”

I loved that Beau and Jack’s love for each other precedes their families opinions and withstands all they have to go through. They are something special together and to each other… it’s beautiful to read. His to Hold is such a feel good, heartwarming romance that I absolutely recommend it, especially for romance readers who loves the bestfriends to lovers trope!
Devon, as I’ve seen in Quintessence, His to Keep, and now His to Hold is exemplary! Loved seeing him as a father and the way he is with his kids.
As this is set a few years after His To Keep, I loved getting to see more of Tin and Alice together and how they’re still as incredibly in love with each other as they were in their book.
The highlight of this book for me though, is getting to see how the Dubois siblings band together and the whole family dynamic… it was amazing to read!
