    Katie Wyatt is 25% American Sioux Indian. Born and raised in Arizona, she has traveled and camped extensively through California, Arizona, Nevada, Mexico, and New Mexico. Looking at the incredible night sky and the giant Saguaro cacti, she has dreamed of what it would be like to live in the early pioneer times.

    Spending time with a relative of the great Wyatt Earp, also named Wyatt Earp, Katie was mesmerized and inspired by the stories he told of bygone times. This historical interest in the old West became the inspiration for her Western romance novels.

    Her books are a mixture of actual historical facts and events mixed with action and humor, challenges and adventures. The characters in Katie’s clean romance novels draw from her own experiences and are so real that they almost jump off the pages. You feel like you’re walking beside them through all the ups and downs of their lives. As the stories unfold, you’ll find yourself both laughing and crying.The endings will never fail to leave you feeling warm inside.

    Kat Carson lives in New Mexico with her two dogs, a horse, and 20 chickens. She started writing when she was a teenager and has never stopped. She loves the rich culture of the old West. Some of her stories are inspired by tales from the local storytellers in New Mexico and what her grandparents used to tell her. Others are when she travels around in her RV camping, fishing, hiking, climbing and engaging with other interesting people along the way.

    She writes stories derived from actual historical facts and events and sometimes individuals with interesting characters in nature that will captivate you and leave you in awe with the twists and turns of every story. Packed with action, humor, challenge, and adventure her short stories will stretch the limits of your imagination, allowing you to marvel at the fascinating time in US history. I recommend them for anybody who enjoys an excellent feel good clean and wholesome romance story.

    I have crawled into her set of books and have a difficult time going to sleep at night. I have to finish the chapter then the next one seems so close but as a disabled woman my sleep is necessary.

    I have sit and wished the story did not end but I know it has to and with the details and story lines I can almost imagine how they would continue.

    Thans so much for such a great collection of stories i could afford and throughly enjoy.

    But I still want more about some of them. LOL

    This was a very enjoyable set of stories about mail order brides. Easy and quick reads. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is there are many homonym errors (rein/reign, stationary/stationery, etc.) and sometines missing words, which could have just been typesetting errors (or whatever it would be called with digital books).
