    Tal'n has gone thru so much to get to earth and finding his mate the way he did was just a great read. I love when they can't understand each other at first. It makes it all very interesting. What he went thru to get her the ear pieces though was crazy , they are a terrific couple and landing in the bikers village is bringing more good survivors together. I love that he got another shuttle too. Gabby is perfect for him.

    This is Tal’n and Gabby's story. Tal’n left his assignment when he heard that females from Earth were compatible as mates. As he hides from those he who want to capture him and send him back to his unit and those who he fears are not friends he finds Gabby. Gabby was recaptured at the end of the last book when she help a group of rebels get out and now they are sending her to be eaten by the bugs in the arena . Tal’n sees his mate in trouble and as a diversion is made and another rescue is on the way he steals his Gabby and the story really starts! With a bit of a language barrier and danger around every turn this couple get to know each other slowly friendship forms and passion follows.     I brought, own, kept and read as many of the Xarc'n Warrior books as I can find. I was intrigued to find such as series and I was thoroughly surprised at how the story was written. I didn't get absurd aliens, I got well thought out aliens, a great background story and it is totally believable. I've recommended the series to my friends and even though they aren't into science fiction, they read as many as they could get their hands on and have now made alien or science fiction space romances part of their reading lot. You get enough background story to know why they are where they are, and apart from not being human, they are human like. If you've never read a series involving non humans, give this one a go, you'll be quickly absorbed into their world and won't want it to end. Each story has the same spine, but twirls outward from there, making each story individual. The physical interaction scenes are well thought out, well written and a lot of my friends want their own warrior. Not a leave them at the bedroom door romance, but not a romance based around just the physical interaction. If the individual stories don't drag you in, the warriors and their firey Human females will. A realistic future. A great portal to start your introduction to science fiction in general and a wonderful place for a very different romance. Highly recommended. Definitely a series that will be forever in my collection.
