This is a stand-alone read but if you have read the equally amazing ‘Anaconda’, ‘Mr Fiancé’ and Heartstopper then you will see some familiar characters popping up, as Hannah Fowler and Anthony Steele met at the wedding of Roxy and Jake (The couple from Heartstopper), each of the stories features an Irresistible bachelor and amazing leading lady, they all pop up in each other’s stories and make a great background crew, they are all amazing read alone, and just bring a little extra something when you read them all.
    Hannah has come to a point in her life where she is starting to think moving to a nunnery may be an option, she has had several disastrous relationships, and is now in a place where if she doesn’t land a deal in work her department may be closed. The only problem is the when she arrives to make the deal she discovers the person she is up against with the deal, is someone she wants to forget.
    Tony Steele has always been known as a party boy, but he is desperate to change that. Working for his brother he hasn’t had the best of luck, but maybe now this huge deal can turn everything round for him. Tony can prove once and for all he can compete and win. But when he arrives to find a woman who threw a cup of punch at him last time they saw each other, his best laid plans go south.
    This was a great story, the settings are fabulous and paint the background and settings for you, there is enough steam and passion to keep it fun, but not enough that it’s all you are reading. There are funny scenes that will make you giggle out loud. Any of the irresistible bachelor books are worth a read, but I have a special place for this book as the setting is amazing.

    I'll be honest and say I was a bit worried where Hannah and Tony were headed during the competition. Some of the games were a bit corny. Or so I thought. I'm proud to admit I was wrong. The significance of the journey they took was emotionally satisfying. There was incredible meaning and of course a method to the madness. It's tearful when you get the meanings. There was definitely humor thrown in throughout. I was glad to hear from the gang from the other books in the series.

    I'll also admit the fastest way to earn my tears is to read about a man crying. It's nice to read they are human too. And that it's ok. It makes them real. The beach scene was the definition of love making. It was so sensual and had so much meaning. I'm all for a serious romp or even angry relations. But rarely do we ever get to experience that one of a kind, the soul touching, the absolute epitome of what we're all searching for.

    The book had so much meaning along with the humor. I really enjoyed this story and getting to know Hannah and Tony. I was not prepared for the emotions that came along while reading this. The message and thinking outside the box was hidden. I kept getting those ah-ha moments. Things started clicking. I felt satisfied when the book ended. It felt complete. I'd highly recommend. It's a really great read.

    I loved all of LAUREN Landish's books and this series is particularly fabulous with 'Anaconda', 'Mr Fiancé', 'Heartstopper' and now 'Stud Muffin' all getting 5 fun, fast, sexy Stars! Each can be read as a standalone although the characters do cross over.

    Tony is no longer the party boy he was in college and he is out to prove more than just his professional skills are fabulous. It's been over a year since his last relationship and he now has a chance to change his luck when Hannah Somers is back on the scene...

    Hannah is Roxy's best friend (who we met in Roxy and Jake's story) and she is one amazing female character. She works for Aurora Holdings and Tony works for his brother Oliver and both want the island in Hawaii but the owner puts them through challenges to see who would be a better owner. Tony & Hannah have different reasons for wanting to win but when feelings get involved will that change...

    The sexual tension between Tony & Hannah is through the roof and when they finally get together it is intense! There are a lot of times while reading that I would laugh and have a smile on my face.

    I laughed out loud at the crazy antics in 'Stud Muffin'. The sassy banter between these two was such fun. I could picture the beautiful Hawaiian setting and the breathtaking lanscape.
    Along with the antics there was a wonderful romance developing... my favourite discourse happens when Tony asks Oliver 'How'd you know when you fell in love with Mindy" and this is Oliver's superb answer ....
    “That’s easy. When you find the one who makes you feel like your heart isn’t in your chest anymore but in her hands. When you meet that person who makes you feel like you’d be happy sharing the fifth circle of hell if they were the one with you . . . when you meet her, and you’d be willing to do anything, be saint or sinner or angel in order to make her happy . . . that’s when you know.” #sigh...

    The witty dialogue between our protagonists made for one hell of a sexy romp. Oh, and lets not forget, the parrot! The crazy, loudmouth, trash-talkin' parrot, Mo Mo stole the show. The dual POV just made it that much funnier. A wonderfully satisfying HEA. 5 Stars all the way...

    Stud muffin is about a beautiful woman named Hannah and a sexy (stud muffin) called Anthony and how an unexpected twist of fate pulls them back together after an attempted botched one-night stand. They meet on the beautiful island of Hawaii and enter into a series of tasks in order to win the ultimate prize the opportunity to save each of their jobs to their respective companies. But along the way they get to really know each other and Discover that the other person was different from what they first thought. As love and Sparks Fly the two move forward into embracing the Island and the Crazy Billionaire that they need to impress, bringing them even closer together. I really enjoyed this book and think many others will enjoy it as well the had leading lady is sassy and sweet and can give it as good as she gets where's the leading man is sexy, downright yummy and yes a stud muffin. Definitely a good read.

    The second book RELENTLESS THE BERTOLI CRIME FAMILY was also an amazing read. As you can tell from the title it's about the mafia in this case The Mafia Princess named Adriana who is the daughter of the Godfather`s brother. In this story Adriana is being stalked buy her art teacher who ends up turning into a murderer and using the means to ruin her life through music. Enters Daniel her uncles top enforcer and her childhood friend who she secretly likes, Daniel is tasked with the job of protecting Adriana but the number one rule
    "do not touch her in any way".
    Even though the consequences of such a thing is"Death" Daniel is unable to truly hide his feelings for Adriana and ends up pushing the boundaries between bodyguard and friend. Relentless was a great book I liked the complexity of the characters Adriana the college art student / Mafia Princess, Daniel the orphan / enforcer and Drake the art professor/ex-military interrogator.

    Two great books from Lauren Landish will be on the look out for more great reads.

    I felt like I was right there with the characters. The love...the hate... The love again. Lauren gives descriptions that make it feel like you know everyone in the books. I laughed out loud at the antics of this family and extended family. Yes never know what you will read about them. :)
