I'll Be Seeing You Kindle Edition
You know that feeling you get deep inside your gut? The one that tells you something is dangerous, or something is meant to be. The one that sees the bad or good in a person before they even utter a single syllable to you. The one that rattles your very soul, making you question your own sanity because you know you must be completely mad for having such an intense connection to someone you’ve just met. That’s the feeling I had when I first saw him. It was so much more than his good looks, his charming personality and his caring ways. It was something unexplainable and unimaginable.
The first time we met, I felt it, and I was pretty certain he did too. Familiar strangers searching for someone, or something deep inside the other. Maybe I was losing my mind or maybe I was just caught up in a daydream of how I wished my life could be. But from the first moment I had gotten caught up in his gaze, I knew I had stared into those pale-blue eyes once before…maybe not in this lifetime, but perhaps a lifetime before.

About the author

Ever since I can remember, I have always enjoyed Creative Writing. There was always something about being able to travel to a different place or become a different person with just the stroke of a pen - or in today's world a touch of the keyboard. I love creating deep characters who you will love or love to hate.
My life is not as interesting as my books or the characters in them, but then again whose life is? My happy place is a seat by the ocean with my feet in the sand or on the busy streets of New York City. You will more than likely find one of these places as the setting for most of my books.

- Reviewed in the United States on March 29, 2019Y’all! This book is phenomenal! Beth has stepped out of the box on this book and has nailed every single thing! You guys are going to fall in love with this story.
This is two love stories in one PHENOMENAL read. Olivia and August go through a journey of finding their love story while feeling and going through someone else’s. We get a little bit of a paranormal vibe but this book is SO MUCH MORE THAN that. You will be hooked from the very first page until the very last.
This book will have you going through so many emotions. Once you turn the last page your heart will be so full. Beth has really written a truly beautiful book.
This is MY FAVORITE BOOK of 2019. And I know it will be yours to.
HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

**RECEIVED ARC FOR HONEST REVIEW**
This is the first book I have read by this author and I was impressed. I admit it took me a moment to get into the book but once I did you could feel the warmth, the love, the desire to reconnect.
The writing in itself was not overly technical or complex. It really felt like reading a simple narrative. Yet, as the characters interact and the drama unfolds you naturally feel the tensions, expectations, excitement, sadness, and every other emotion evoked until the end.
At the end end of the book the author addressed how difficult it was identifying with her character because she is not of mixed heritage and has never lived through that race discrimination but it was important to her to try and identify with her character as she wrote the book. This was evident in the book.
Yes we feel Olivia's pain and despair as she desires to belong after she endures an act of discrimination but it needs to be noted the disconnect in the acts of discrimination by a select few and the population as a whole. Southern, rich, white people...only like 4...who say she doesn't belong. She grew up in Philadelphia, current times, sure she may have experienced discrimination but not to the extent she was an outsider. The race aspect that is playing is based on a storyline from the 1940's that is important to the story as a whole. Hence the disconnect. You feel the disconnect a lot. At least I did. As a side note before anyone asks, yes I have identified as white my whole life. I may identify as white but I do understand discrimination in my own way. But enough about me.
This does not cloud my review of this wonderfully sweet, romantic, and poignant book. The author is correct: love is blind and the soul is all that matters. I'LL BE SEEING YOU
- Reviewed in the United States on February 14, 2020I've enjoyed Ms. Rinyu's books, especially A Right to Remain, which earned five stars, but this one didn't quite make the grade for me. (WARNING: SOME SPOILERS AHEAD!)
Briefly, here's the plot. Seventy years ago, lovers Grace and Matthew perished together in a fire because Matthew refused to let her die alone. With her last breath, Grace vowed that ". . . someday, I'll be seeing you," believing they'd be together again in a future life. Sure enough, seven decades later, Olivia and Austin meet in a small Georgia town and feel an immediate attraction. Why? Because the souls of Grace and Matthew live inside of them! They don't figure this out right away, of course, but they keep falling into trance-like dreams that carry them back to the long-ago lovers and that tragic fire. Naturally they fall in love, but evil and danger lurk nearby.
There's plenty of evil in this story. An evil man set the fire that killed Grace and Matthew years ago. Austin has an evil stepmother. Austin's girlfriend (Danielle) is evil, and so are Danielle's brother (Sheriff Riggs) and father (a former Sheriff Riggs). Heck, Riggs men have been evil sheriffs in this town for generations, causing all sorts of trouble. And it's not over yet, because one of them is determined to destroy Olivia. Why? I'm not saying. But she gets some help from a ghost, and there's another kind ghost also.
Once I got past the slow-moving plot with its repetitive dreamlike flashbacks, things picked up toward the end with several twists and turns and a surprising big reveal. I also appreciated Olivia's sensitive, compassionate interactions with Austin's grandmother, a woman with dementia. And I totally agree with the author, who writes, "We love who we love, and no one should judge another for it because in the end, it's not the color of our skin, our religious beliefs, our nationality or our sexual orientation that will matter. It's the love we have deep inside our hearts." Amen to that.
One thing troubled me. Olivia's mother gave her up at birth because she was a product of rape, and "She was just a painful reminder of what had happened." I can't imagine giving up an innocent baby for such a reason, even though Olivia comes to view it as a selfless act. Charlene could have raised Olivia in another part of the country and avoided all the tragedy to come. But then we wouldn't have this story, and the souls of Grace and Matthew wouldn't live happily ever after in Olivia and Austin. So I guess it was all meant to be.
If you enjoy descriptive writing, you'll like this book. Eyes peeled (a lot), dropped, darted, flickered, glazed, danced, set, rolled, locked, and penetrated. Stomachs also dropped a lot. Lips clashed, grazed and meshed. But the few sex scenes are surprisingly brief and bland. For example, in less than a paragraph, lips clash, clothes come off, love is made, and our lovers are "fully content." Wow! That's okay, though. I wasn't expecting steamy sex. And the book has very limited use of profanity and the f-word. Three stars overall.
