Before I tell you anything about Neon & Oakley, you should know that this is not a standalone. Yes, if all you want to do is read a journey of two people, technically, this would be their journey, but because this is an MC journey, you might find yourself a little lost in places if you don’t have knowledge of the comings & goings, as they say, of the MC and its members. Due with that tidbit of info what you will :)
Now, let’s talk about these two or rather KE Osborn’s fantastic word wizardry! It’s been a while since an author has sucked me into their world(s) like she has, and it is a glorious place to be. My love for her storytelling only began last year, but it was fast and furious. She attracts me with her covers and keeps me captivated and invested with the story inside. Also, her titles always match her stories super perfect. The entire package makes me as giddy as a schoolgirl! #win
Neon and Oakley made for a combustible story. Oakley wears her sass and fearless nature for all to see, on the outside, if you will. Neon is the IT guy of the MC and one would think he’d be a bit reserved and maybe nerd(ish), but one would be mistaken. Yes, he’s a bit softer around the edges but push him and … not good lol Their story is riddled with twists and turns and explosive plot points not only for Neon and Oakley but because of Neon and Oakley and MC business itself. You guys, seriously, if you want to be able to keep up with these stories, you must start at the beginning. Osborn doesn’t just leave couple in the background as she writes them and moves on, they continue to grow in her future stories and the Club continues to grow as well. You can’t just start in the middle. There are not that many authors out there who are so inclusive within a world they create, but Osborn is. #trust
I don’t want to say that Neon and Oakley are my favorite thus far but as far as where this Club is and everything that has happened thus far, this story is ranking up there for me. The brotherhood of the Houston Defiance MC shone brilliantly with this story and when I say brotherhood, that’s both male and female. Another tidbit that sets this author apart, her Club is run not just by the brothers. SERIOUSLY, if you are an MC romance fiction fan, take some time and invest in this world. You will not regret it!
