Unknown
I watch him from the shadows, capturing his essence through a tiny lens.
Every inch of his skin I have committed to memory, I know his body as well as my own.
I’m waiting for the right moment to let him catch sight of me.
Just like the way he seized my attention so long ago.

Thomas
Unease and fear are my constant companion; a side effect of the eyes I can sense on me, watching my every move.
I don’t know how to make the feeling stop.
The not knowing if someone is lurking out there, just waiting for me to drop my guard is making me lose my mind.

Mason
I wish I could tell Thomas how he makes me feel.
The feelings that I hide are consuming me, making it harder to face him.
I’ve wanted him for years, but never found the strength to admit the truth.
The lie is getting harder to tell, and every day I feel myself starting to slip.

Ally Michelle has done a perfect job creating an eerie, suspenseful and yet scorching hot read. I could not devour the words fast enough even though I didn’t want it to end. I needed to know what would happen and Ally Michelle kept me on the edge!

The character development in this is really strong. Each POV chapter from Mason, Thomas and Unknown just captivated me even more. The world building was vividly done and made it impossible to put the book down.

This story is a rollercoaster of emotions. My thoughts changed from moment to moment as I tried and failed to figure out what would happen. In Plain Sight runs all the way from creepy to wow I need a cold glass of water. While this is Ally Michelle’s first M/M book I hope it won’t be the last because I need more words!

5 stars for a suspenseful and sizzling read!

    Review Updated:
    Format Read: Ebook & Audiobook

    *Update* Audible review:
Narrator: Oh Boy, this was (for me) kinda hard to listen to..His voice is very ummm...smoothly Robotic? (Yeah, can’t seem to find the right words to explain it lol)! In the sense that he is almost void of emotion, but clearly enunciates aloud what he’s reading, it does get annoying cause he does talk a bit fast, and sadly the way he narrates made it hard to focus on the story and who’s POV it was for each chapter.

Great story, but wrong Narrator for the book.

    So...
    Overall: 3.5/5, Listing as 3.
    Story: 4/5
    Narrator/Performance: 2.5/5

    ****

I Give this a 4.5/5 Star Rating, Listing as 4.
HEA(?): Yes, There is an HEA, don’t worry! LOL
    Heat Level: 4.5/5
    Romance: 5/5
    Drama: 3.5/5
    Mystery/Suspense: 3.5/5
    Dark(?): 3.5/5
    Pacing: Mid Fast
    Relationship Type: MM

    Completely recommend this book!

This was an immediate 1-Click Buy for me, the synopsis alone made me crazy for this book.
I LOVE Stalker Books, and this is one of my Top Favorites for sure.
I fell in love with the Stalker as soon as I finished the first sentence, don’t ask me why. Lol
I was expecting it to be ‘Super’ Dark which I would’ve seriously enjoyed, but it wasn’t and that didn’t bother me at all and I just loved everything about this book!

This was the first book I've read from these authors. I've read a lot of MM books, but not many "dark" romance, and was intrigued by the blurb for this book. I wanted to like this story, but just kept getting stuck on inconsistencies in the story.
SPOILER ALERT - you've been warned...

Thomas realizes he's being stalked; someone has broken into his house multiple times, once while he's sleeping, is sending him photos of himself... He's apparently so freaked out by this that he's not sleeping and is jumpy, even around his friends. But, he doesn't call the police? This didn't make any sense to me.
It's mentioned early in the book that Thomas bought his house, and that Mason lives in an apartment, but a bit later Mason tells a friend to sneak out the back door when Thomas comes over. I tried to give this a pass since there could be apartments out there somewhere that have back doors, but then Thomas moves in with Mason at the end of the story and we find out he was only renting his house? It may seem like a small thing, but authors should pay attention to these kinds of details.
I thought giving the stalker a "voice" in the story was an interesting choice, and made the stalking element very creepy. However, when we find out who the stalker is it didn't make any sense. The stalker is written like a stereotypical stalker who is obsessed with the object of his desire, with escalation of his actions from just watching, to interactions. His thoughts are all about how he wants to possess Thomas, and so on. But, when we find out that M is the stalker, his thoughts about Thomas don't match up with the "unknown". It's seriously like two different people.
Also, I don't understand what the point was of killing Thomas' girlfriend. He had enough pictures of her cheating with other guys to convince Thomas to dump her, but he doesn't send the picture until right before he goes to kill her? There doesn't seem to be any tipping point for this action.
And, why would Thomas be totally okay with M being a murderer?

I really wanted to like this book, but the actions of the characters just don't make any sense in relation to what they say.

So there is a stalker, a best friend and a cringy girlfriend. Bi-awakening of the MC and gay best friend. It kept me on my toes. It was pretty hot. Kept me guessing and since I don't try too hard to anticipate what happens next it surprised me. One of those "ooooo" moments at the end that I don't know what to think now that it's over. It did suck me into the story and kept me engaged!

Holy heebie jeebies, that was one hot, steamy, intense read. To be that infatuated with someone else, and to do the most unforgettable things to that someone is insane. This book is 5½⭐ crazy. The story pulls you in from the beginning, and keep you engaged. The scenes with the Unknown, are the best. He takes stalking to a whole new level and get a little out of control with it. Thomas and Mason, is your delectable men in this story, they are best friends and will do anything for one another.

In Plain Sight, is amazing! I love how Ally Michelle, write together. They have the best stories roaming around in their heads. They know how to deliver on their own, but together they're phenomenal.
