- Reviewed in the United States on March 1, 2024Well written and edited, highly recommended. Is there some kind of award for someone who displays an amazing skill at rationalizing and denial? Tyler would definitely deserve that award. He held on to his straight card like he couldn't survive without it.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 11, 2021Nick and Tyler's story was good but a little lacking for me. It was all one sided on Tyler's point of view and Tyler got to be annoying with his constant "I'm not gay" statements.
I wish we had gotten Nick's context. I bet it would have made the book darker and hella hot!
I guess it did afford a certain scense of mystery to not include Nick's pov, but nevertheless, I personally would have loved it!
Great writing as always and I'm so glad that Nick's did get his story.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 15, 2024I don’t know how Nick has the patience for Tyler.
This story is a tough journey for the HEA. But it’s worth a read, although it’s a bit frustrating for one of the two main characters.
Great addition to the series!
- Reviewed in the United States on June 29, 2020At first Tyler’s dumb behavior was kind of funny, and I liked it, but as the story continued, it got old supper fast. It was like watching “Clueless” on crack. I started to think that anyone that engaged on any intimate act with Tyler was taking advantage of the mentally challenged. *POSSIBLE SPOILERS AHEAD*
I also kind of didn’t like Nick that much because he’s supposed to be Tyler’s closest friend, and knows him since childhood, and knows how clueless, and ridiculous his way of thinking is, but he doesn’t correct him about his insulting way of speaking about being gay, until Tyler is in a uncomfortable and dangerous situation. Also, after the first few advices (which were the only ones that were good) when Tyler goes to Nick for advice or guidance, he gives him sarcastic responses, and excuses to justify Tyler being “straight” when he knew that it was not true. Like come on dude, he knew that Tyler didn’t get sarcasm or indirect comments, it was as if he wanted Tyler to continue being confuse, and then he goes and gets all butthurt about Tyler’s behavior. Like dude, you contributed to this, why are you acting like a victim now.
Also, I found it kind of weird that after Tyler finally starts to accept who he is, he starts acting less dumb. I wondered if it was done on purpose to kind of make fun of people like Tyler, that have a hard time accepting themselves and their sexuality. If it was, it’s pretty messed up, insulting and judgmental, so there goes another star. I gave it a total of 2.5 to 3 stars because there were funny parts that I liked, it was entertaining and I liked the ending, but it’s not a story I’ll read again.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 24, 2024I haven't read bros like them before, I couldn't put it down. I was LMFAO with ty, and oh wow the spice. Phew blew me away! Love it.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 18, 2023This book gave me anxiety. I just felt so sad for Tyler and Nick because Tyler struggled with his sexuality so much through almost the entire book, and it hurt both sides. I loved how Nick stuck through it, even though it wasn't the most supportive and communicative time between these two. Nick and Tyler were adorable at times, and I lived for it!
I think this book lacked development relationship wise between Nick and Tyler. Sure they've been friends forever, but that isn't the same as being romantically involved. The story itself was too short to support more development it seems and that was a disappointment. Despite these things, I still really enjoyed this journey and had some major feels for these two!

- Reviewed in the United States on July 13, 2022This book has wonderful characters! You can just see this “dude” figuring out what he likes and being so confused. Confusing his very patient best friend along the way. Tyler at the beginning comes across as just a bit homophobic (maybe internalized more than anything). The things that come out of his mouth! So awkward and it makes you feel for his friend. Strangely, his complete lack of tact makes a wonderful romance in which you watch him fall in love and grow as a person. He has such good intentions and love for his friend. I enjoy it the most out of this series and have read it several times.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 3, 2019This is the first book I've read from Alessandra Hazard and, well, wow! This book is freaking HOT from the opening scene to the last word. When Tyler comes to a realization about what he's discovered about sex, of course, he talks to his best friend, Nick. Nick encourages Tyler to explore what he likes and the more Tyler does so, the more he comes to realize he needs something more than a toy or his hand. When Tyler admits what he wants, Nick believes he's just helping him out once and they will move on, but Tyler gets addicted. The relationship between Tyler and Nick, both in and out of bed, is something that kept me reading until the end. I loved how Nick took care of Tyler, the one who was a tad immature in their friendship but when Nick believed Tyler was playing with him, I liked his assertive personality. This is a very, I mean very, sexy read but ultimately the relationship that Tyler and Nick share makes the story even better. I can't wait to go back and read the others in the series. Highly recommended!!

5.0 out of 5 stars ❤❤❤❤❤❤
i think this is one of my favorites books of the saga, losing only for just a bit wrong because i have a soft-spot for this book. There a lot to like in this book, but what caught my heart was the fact that the "happily ever after" were better explored in my opinion, which is something that lacks in the other books for me, and the development of the couple was so cute (and hot asf) i super recommend this books.

5.0 out of 5 stars OMG I love this series
It took awhile for Ty to realise that he was bi but his best friend Nick was very patient with him. Even though Ty loved getting Nick’s dick inside of him as often as possible., It takes awhile to understand his feelings.
I read this book from start to finish I couldn’t put it down can’t wait for the next book in the series.

5.0 out of 5 stars Shameless!
These two! Oh my gosh! Besties again but on a whole new benefits level!
Tyler was so adorably messed up lol i loved his whole "I'm not gay" thing it caused many a chuckle! He was so confused and didn't know what the hell he was doing to the poor suffering Nick! He was simple in his life and it really was sweet how innocent his thoughts were. I mean not innocent sexually but in his thought process. It felt good he did it, it was that simple.
Poor Nick. Even though we didn't really get his thoughts you could feel them. He must have been so conflicted because he obviously really did have a crush on his best friend since forever but he had a handle on it until Tyler dragged him into a position he couldn't hide his feelings any more it was impossible. And also who knew Nick is very much like his older brother! Dominant and well...Pure filth! Lol i loved him!
The humiliation kink had been touched on in Zach's book but this was off the charts and well surprisingly hot! Pheww!!
Loved these two together. Although their heads needed knocking together way before Tyler come to his senses it was a great story which showed probably the toughest straight guy struggle of the series.
Don't want this series to end!

5.0 out of 5 stars Fun read
It took me a while to warm up to Tyler. But the more I read, the more he seemed relatable and in the end I just straight up respected him. The sex in this book was awesome. I liked this version of the popular gay-straight best friends. I liked it better than Ryan and James! All in all, a great addition to the series.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Story
WOW!! What a conundrum Tyler had here!! Now and then I couldn't make up my mind if I liked him or not, but then again he WAS going through a life changing experience. Nick is the friend everyone should have, a plucky, unwavering young man, a true friend even under such extreme pressure. This is a very impassioned story, tough to read at times but so worth it. This 'Just A Bit' series is wonderful, I've worked my way through a few, one of them twice, this author does an outstanding job.
