Soulless Kindle Edition
Monsters exist, monsters who hunt for the one thing they lack—a soul. Though they were once human, they have no memory of who they were, no identity. They live without conscience or compassion.
All of them except one.
He is determined to fight against what he has become. But what happens when he finds a soul so bright, so pure, that he might not be able to resist? Will the monster within him win or will he become something he never thought possible?
She is the light to his darkness, the hope to his despair. Their bond will be tested in more ways than one...
A great evil hides in the shadows and, Soulless or not, he might be the only one who can stop it.
**This is a clean romantasy, with no swearing or sex. You’ll find struggles and triumphs, a splash of magic, danger with some violence, redemption, true love, and a happily ever after! This book was first published in 2013, but has been revised/updated. The story is basically the same, but with some new content and a new cover.

About the author

I was born and raised in Utah. I'm the middle child of five. I'm married to a wonderful man. I love to write. I told myself that even if I never published a single thing, I would still write. There's something magical about creating people and places that I grow to love. My favorite genre to read and write is clean romance. My stories are clean and fresh, with no vulgarity, profanity, sex, or excessive violence. A good story doesn't need those things. People of any age should be able to pick up a book without having to worry about the content. That's my mission. To provide great stories with admirable characters in a way that stays true to my own values and standards.

- Reviewed in the United States on February 22, 2014Format: KindleVerified PurchaseI'm talking sitting-on-the-edge-of-your-seat action, adventure, fantasy, romance, and well-developed characters that I care very much about. And there are seriously scary bad guys. And there's a horse. What more could you want? Ah, editing. We've got that too.
This is like no other book I've read before. The story line is unique as are the characters. This is not another version of a familiar story. I probably read about 6 books a month. I love Charlaine Harris' Sookie Stackhouse and Kim Harrison's The Hollows series. But they are predictable. You read them because you care about the characters.
Kacie Taylor is a whole new ballgame. Read her book. I think you'll love it.

- Reviewed in the United States on November 6, 2014Format: KindleThis book has a darker tone than the author's other books, but it's just as interesting, exciting, and well-written. The plot has twists and turns that I wasn't expecting, and the characters have depth and dimension not always found in YA novels. I was pulled in by the main character's struggles, and found myself cheering for him even though he is somewhat of an antihero. The author has created a dark and enchanting love story that is a refreshing stand-out in the overabundance of vampire stories in YA fiction. I loved that there wasn't a vampire (or a sparkle) to be found in this book. Plus, the author illustrates yet again how it's still possible to write great books without including sex and gore.
