King Me: A Forever Wilde Novel Kindle Edition
Unfortunately, fate has other plans. A priceless artifact has gone missing, and King is the only one who can help recover it. I thought nothing could be worse than being forced to work with the egotistical SOB, but I was wrong. Falling for the charming art thief in the middle of an operation is way, way worse.
King: The key to being a good art thief is knowing when to call it quits. After one close call too many, I decide that time is now and head home to Hobie, Texas, intending to hang up my lock picks for good. Unfortunately, the FBI has other plans. Agent Dirk Falcon approaches me with an offer I can’t refuse: full immunity for my past crimes in exchange for helping him with one last job.
The catch? The job involves stealing from the very man who taught me everything I know. The same man who double-crossed me years ago. Pulling this off means trusting Falcon and his team, but how do I trust the sexy agent when he’s staked his career on taking me down?
King Me is the seventh book in the Forever Wilde series but you do not have to have read any of the others to enjoy it.

- Reviewed in the United States on October 29, 2022Oh the swoons and the angst in this one. This is an enemies to lovers, art heist, cop falling for the cat burglar romance of all the twisty feelings. It is filled with all the emotions, the connections and the love - one minute I was snort laughing, the next I was swooning, then gasping, then cringing, and then I was crying. King is secretly a famous art thief who recently decided to give up his life of crime. Falcon is the FBI agent who has been hunting him for years. Now they have to work together to get a priceless artifact back. King and Falcon’s HEA starts with an uneasy truce and it’s a roller coaster ride for them to get there while dealing with painful pasts, all the mistrust, and slimy exes. This was a swoony, hilarious, fun, sweet, steamy, heart warming story with a bit of angst. This book has a little bit of everything - sweet moments, fan your face steam, side splitting hilarity, tearful scenes, character missteps and growth plus all the heart squeezing love. As always, I am ready to dive into the next book in the series.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 7, 2024I loved this book. Heist books always keep me on the edge of my seat and this one delivered it
- Reviewed in the United States on February 1, 2023King is an art thief. Well every good family should have one, right. Falcon is the agent who was trying to catch him and now needs his help. Magic pair.

Omg I totally was not expecting the story we got with King. It was quite adventurous. I enjoyed it. I loved his and Falcon's epilogue. Just wish it had been a bit longer.
- Reviewed in the United States on July 26, 2019Since the author writes MM, we won't get to see how wild the girls are, and so far the guys have had some adventures but none of them walked on the wilder side of right and wrong. Unlike other reviewers - I didn't care about inaccuracies - if I didn't notice them, they didn't matter. The comment about age and being a 'daddy' and such - I understand that that doesn't have anything to do with AGE, it has to do with psyche? At least that's what I've gotten from other books where that is a theme - because occasionally, the daddy has been younger.....
I'm actually glad there was more action, it fits with LL's intent to make a heist book. It's a perfect addition to the series. It's great way to meet the Wilde who was always gone.
just a note: I re-read Wilde Love so I could re-do the pre-wedding scene where King takes off when Falcon comes in.
Grandpa and Doc are still my favorite couple and their story is so wonderful. If you are on the fence and haven't read any of the Forever Wilde or Made Marian stories - Read Wilde Love. It's the perfect book to start with: Deeper, more somber and then the comedy and fun that dominates the other books comes in.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 4, 2024The action in this was more intense than I was expecting for a Wilde. I love this series and this was really exciting and intriguing.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 24, 2023I enjoyed King's book, but it seemed to move a little slower than the others. King and Falcon were interesting, just slower moving than the other books. I think I would love a book about MJ and her girlfriend...
- Reviewed in the United States on September 16, 2020Does Lucy write a bad B/L love story? Not yet for me and this 2 series. I really enjoyed how different this one was. It was reminiscent in being super different with Felix and the Prince. I thought wow an art thief! And I could tell right away she was going to pair King up with the Buttoned up FBI agent who has been out to get him. After escaping his grasp after Falcon has looked for him for 5 years. Turns out that King goes Robin Hood and starts returning things to their rightful owners. He returned tons of Holocaust art and jewelry to their rightful owner. He is hired by FBI to deal with a piece. It is in the planning of the operation that King and Falcon find each other physically, fall in love, and decide for King & Falcon this is it. They are done and moving to Hobie to open at consulting business. It is exciting because you have a world-renowned art thief running around. Oh and yeah he can produce forgeries too. Highly, recommend Yet one more Lucy novel...

5.0 out of 5 stars Funny, captivating and thrilling
This story is totally different from the other Wilde novels which kind of makes it even better. It's so much more than a simple love story while still making my heart squeeze with a heart-warming star-crossed lovers scenario.

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant heist!
Freaking loved this storyline! It was exciting!
From start to finish i was hooked in!
King is quite different from his siblings and cousins. He found himself on the wrong side of the law but i still loved him. Maybe more than all the others because he was flawed. He was drawn in by someone he thought he could trust. Someone he thought he loved. But he was being used. We meet King just as he gets done over and dropped in it. I loved how he tried to make amends for what he had done. It showed his Wilde side of goodness.
I also loved Agent Falcon! I mean, yum meee! He was so good and by the book but also rough and growly. He was so great with King and also incredibly understanding. It was like he was the opposite of King but at the core they were the same. Wanted the same things. Interested in the same things. Same morals even though King had been led the wrong way he wanted to be the same as Dirk.
The story was brilliant. I loved the fast paced action of the heist and the trap. Sooooo good! But i also loved the budding romance between King and Dirk. It was great watching it grow into so much more than either was looking for.
Another knockout book in this series! Forever Wilde!
