King's Virtuous Son (The Kings of Men MC Book 7) Kindle Edition

4.5 out of 5 stars 460 ratings

The “Innocent” Twin
Hunter Tanner is a prospect for the Kings of Men MC. The club president, King, shocked Hunter with the news that he is Hunter’s biological father. King was the only man who had ever kept Hunter safe, and he’d taken King’s attention the wrong way—only to be devastated to learn they were related. Now he’s pissed off. Hunter’s identical twin, Forrest, offers him a chance to get away from New Gothenburg, so Hunter takes a vacation to stay at the Exotic Virtue in New York City.

The Irish Mobster
Jamie Shannon is a simple Irishman. He enjoys working, and sometimes killing, for the Killough Company, and he believes in going after anything—or anyone—he wants. Jamie has long had his eye on a particular blond man who works at the Exotic Virtue, and an opportunity presents itself when he sees him looking down in the dumps next to the pool. Jamie doesn’t hesitate to swoop in and try to kiss him better.

Two Blood-Spattered Worlds, One Heart
An explosive night with Jamie leads to a fight that sends Hunter racing back to New Gothenburg. Jamie doesn’t hesitate to follow his man. To get Hunter back, he’ll have to navigate not only King’s temper when he shows up unannounced to talk to his upset son, but both Hunter and Jamie still have dangerous obligations. Is there any way they can truly be together, or were they doomed to only one hot night from the start?

Ki grew up in small town nowhere complaining loudly to anyone who would listen about the never-ending boredom, but among all that solitude was time to write, daily bonfires, and an endless stretch of sky to ripen an overactive imagination. Now, living in Erie, Pennsylvania, Ki enjoys the sandy beaches and appreciates those quiet times a lot more. Ki is a beach bum during the summer, takes on more projects than are strictly healthy, and spends as much time as possible with family.

I loved this book! The brother relationship between Hunter and Forrest was on point! And I loved the bit of mistaken identity. The relationship between Jamie and Hunter was so fun! I loved that they were both dangerous men but from two different groups! And I loved how well developed these characters were. Every book in this series and other connecting books adds a little more to the richness of the world. I love this author and these books!!

I'm sad I have to wait for another King's book but the journey so far has been awesome. This book with Hunter and Jaime started out stilted for me at first maybe because I had to keep starting and stopping it due to every day life like working but eventually I was able to have time to read steadily and then the book just flowed perfectly. I loved the Irish accent of Jamie's and could hear it in my head clearly. Hunter was a bit of an enigma, not at all like his twin Forrest. I was quite surprised at his actions at the warehouse. I will continue to highly recommend this series and love when there is an epilogue to wrap it all up.

The book is dedicated to Hunter who was quiet, reserved, shy from books before. I was curious about what kind of characteristics he truly is. The author did not disappoint me. In fact, Hunter is much more than he appeared to be. He truly shines in many ways in this book. Jaime is another character who was briefly presented in the Boss book. He complimented well with Hunter and is what Hunter needed in his life. Jaime will give Hunter what he is caving for that he didn’t have as a kid. The book is packed with actions that fast paced with other interesting secondary characters of dynamics. There are more stories behind and can be expanded. Can’t wait to read more.

Enjoyed these two, though I would have loved a bit more. Glad Jamie was so adaptive to Hunter's needs. So many of the powerful sort would have tried to stamp out his independence and demand he stay away from the life.
    I totally recommend this one.

Love this series and can't wait for the next one to come out. Like visiting old friends in each book. Bad ass bikers with heart. Doesn't get any better than that.

Okay, I love Jamie. Absolutely adore him. His cocky and arrogant self with a thick Irish brogue is right up my alley.
Couple that with an adorable boy such as Hunter and it is a match made in Heaven for a reader like me.

We’ve gotten glimpses of both characters throughout the former books, and we have witnessed the temper that Hunter holds. Whether or not Jamie can handle that is a whole other question.

Hunter has to come to terms with multiple aspects of his life throughout the book: Being King’s son, his virgin status, his past misdeeds, and his temper that runs hot and cold. Luckily, for all of it, Jamie is there to help.

My only iffy thing about the book is due to my own rather rigid views when reading it. I am not a huge fan of switching in the bedroom, and I just could not (and still cannot) see Jamie as a bottom and Hunter as a top. Had this not happened it would have been happy 5 stars from me.

1.0 out of 5 stars Omg ist das mies!

Keine Empfehlung!

I am reading these books again and just remembering what I enjoyed about them. The characters are all so believable in a rather unbelievable genre and the story lines are interesting, both the individual relationships and the overall story that drives the whole series. This is a terrific book in a terrific series. Highly recommend

How loveable was Hunter, oh so want to take him in and mother him. Jamie was a gorgeous Irishman full of love, he was meant to be tuff but was a kitten oh well to Hunter he was. A pleasant story was sad to see on of the side characters pass.😢. Love how all the characters keep popping up and again what is with king and undertaker?
Really loved these too together was just beautiful and sweet and manly 😜

Love the kings of men series, and this book is a crossover into the Killough series.

Hunter meets Jamie when hes visiting his brother, Jamie actually sees Hunter, when Hunter had felt invisible most of his life. Jamie wants someone with a bit of fire in them, to match his Irish blood, He doesnt want a yes man.

The meeting with Hunter surprised Jamie, as Hunter is quiet and shy. But he has a fire when hes protecting those he loves and trusts.

The interaction between Jamie and Corbin will make you smile,
