    I fell in love with this series at the very first page of the first book, and LynDee Walker has managed somehow to top herself with each new book. The sixth in the series, "Lethal Lifestyles" has it all and then some. For me to continue to follow an author, the books must have -- first and foremost -- intelligent, witty dialogue. Honestly, that's what makes me fall in love with a character, and I do love Nichelle Clarke! What a gutsy heroine Walker has created in Nichelle! The mystery is top notch; I promise you will not be guessing the ending of this one. The romance aspect is just right -- not too much, not too little, and not too graphic. Characters are nicely developed throughout the whole series, and you will find yourself really caring about them. And while my high heel wearing days are past, I can live vicariously through Nichelle with her amazing collection of designer heels (which she shrewdly purchases through eBay.) I cannot WAIT for #7 in this series!!

    I loved this book. Read it in one day. So romantic but also full of suspense and action. Nichelle is back, this time having a dead body turning up at her friends' rehearsal dinner at a VA winery. This dead body turns out to be a long time enemy of the groom Grant Parker. Nichelle turns detective/reporter and starts investigating to make sure that the correct party is held responsible and not her friend who she knows did not kill anyone. Kyle is there as her friend and partner in crime fighting and her relationship with Joey progresses. Nichelle of course finds out who the real killers are and saves the wedding day for the loving bride and groom. I can not wait for the next book to read about her next adventure and see where her relationship with Joey will go. A definite must read!

    Two negatives. the ebook price is WAY too high at $6.99. The publisher, Henry Press, better be more competitive or I'll just find another author. The other issue is the whole shoe fetish thing. That kind of crap drives me nuts. There are a lot one out there and this one it up near the top of the ranks.

    As I’ve said previously, each book gets better and better! This time out, Nichelle, acting as maid of honor for Melanie and Grants wedding, are in Shenandoah at a vineyard. The weekend is to finish planning their last minute wedding plans, a dinner and pre-rehearsal dinner, and wine for the wedding on the following weekend. Parents are arriving from out of town and the locals, some that Grant knows from his college and baseball days. Then the next morning becomes a nightmare for the couple when Grant is suspected of murder… then the owners of the vineyard are found out to be a few shady characters, a man disappears, big shots from Richmond get involved and yikes… a kidnapping, that might lead to a grudge from the big shots family. I don’t want to give away the whole plot, so pick up this book you will love it as I did😊😊😊
