In the last couple of years Brad has taken up one of his favorite sports playing Senior Softball. On weather friendly days he can be found with his teammates on the local ball field. This past winter when softball could not be played he fed his 'inner jock' with basketball and pickle ball.
As a veterinarian in his previous career Brad really wanted to make a difference. It was only after graduating from vet school that he realized at the end of every leash was a human. Being an introvert at heart this was originally a problem. Once he overcame his shyness and fear of human beings, he realized he could make a difference not only with animals but with humans too.
He took courses in self development, communication and coaching which lead to the sale of his practice in 1990. He then embarked on being a life coach. With his wife Ann they founded Life on Purpose Institute, Inc. in 1996. Today the run their business from their home, live in what they call 'Paradise Found' in the mountains of North Carolina with three dogs, three cats, an aquarium of tropical fish and their lovely daughter. Brad truly lives a life consistent with his teachings and writings.
