    This was a sweet little second-chance novella. Coming back to some of the people you'd like to forget, and to one Jake can't, Savannah. This was an entirely small novella. So if you like sweet, sexy, and a quick story, this one is for you. I expected a little more drama, but we got a little bit of it here. I wish it was a little longer, but it gave me what I needed.

    Quick read. It was a really cute story and I'll definitely look into more of this authors work soon. After 10 years apart Jake comes back to the town of Merlot and runs into his old HS girlfriend. And all of the feelings that they thought were gone came back, stronger than before! It goes to show that distance truly does make the heart grow fonder. ❤️

    Just bc these are all different authors, one would think they’d put more effort into a novel that had the opportunity to gain a new reader audience. A few days, fall back in love and HEA?     It's been years since Jake has been back home. Back in CA. He doesn’t really want to go now, but the grapes he wants to grow for the new wine will grow best there.

    One of the first people Jake sees when he gets to town is Savannah. All the memories, all the feelings, all the hurt, and all the misunderstandings. All the everythings. Wading through it all and then more misunderstandings makes this a true love story.

    Grab this wonderful, short story from Renee Harless and enjoy a little bit of Carson in California.
