My Magical Life to Live: Paranormal Women's Fiction (Midlife Witchery Book 4) Kindle Edition
One day I'm fighting beside my best friends in the Fae realm, and the next I can't light a candle without burning down my house. I always thought witches weren't supposed to have hot flashes unless we were cursed.
But then the day came when I discovered that I'm cursed. How? Well, the pandering ex and the nearly-empty nest would be bad enough on their own. But did I mention the demonic assassin who's set his sights on me too? I told you, I'm cursed.
I'm also done with letting life just happen to me. Nothing has been the same in Cottlehill Wilds since my best friend Fiona showed up. Me included.
Fate better stand up and take notice. This witch is just getting better with age. At forty-four, I know who I am. I have what it takes to fix my wild magic, deal with this killer demon, and save the supernaturals who call my small English town home. And I can do it all despite the wild magical flares, the stray chin hair, and my new wrinkle.

- Reviewed in the United States on June 30, 2021**Warning! Cliffhanger!**
This is book four of the Midlife Witchery series, and the first book in which Violet is the main character. It continues on directly after the third book, and is a similar timeframe to the author’s Mystical Midlife in Maine series, which is briefly reference in this book… which means you need to read the first three of this series and the first in that series before this book to avoid spoilers!
In addition, this book ends on a bit of a cliffhanger, with a lot of loose ends yet to be tied.
Violet hasn’t been the same since she returned from the Fae realm. Her magic is misfiring, her friends have their own issues, and there is still a murderer running around town- only now Violet is getting the blame for one of those attacks.
Teaming up with an Underworld Investigator, Thanos, and the rest of the Backside of Forty Coven, she is determined to clear her name.
An enjoyable trip back to Pimms Pondside, and the magical goings on there. Fans of PWF and urban fantasy will enjoy these interconnected series, and the older heroines that are scattered throughout the books!
- Reviewed in the United States on March 19, 2024Enjoyed this book and the series. Don't enjoy adding words to have enough to give the book 5 stars. The end.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 1, 2023The 3 women cant stay out of trouble. I look forward to figuring out who is ther enemy. Great writing and plotlines.

5.0 out of 5 stars Brilliant Series
Mt Magical Life to Live (Midlife Witchery Book 4) by Brenda Trim. Since returning from Eidothea Victoria was having trouble with her magic and a demon seems to be fixated on her. The reason her magic is playing up is very surprising.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great paranormal shenanigans
I have enjoyed this series very much. The characters are interesting and likeable, the plot is good and I can’t wait to read the next one. My only gripe as a non American, is the stupid inaccuracies through the book. It’s set in England and they paid an item in dollars when they use pounds, the English boy called his mother mom instead of mum which is the English term and don’t get me stated on biscuits. They are hard sweet items of food to go with your tea not scones. The English don’t call scones biscuits. That’s just weird. Please do some research, Brenda, and find out what the Brits actually say as opposed to Americanisms. I love all your books but that gets on my goat.

5.0 out of 5 stars Another great book
This series is getting better and better. While it was a bit confusing at the beginning because one of the other characters was narrating, it soon got very exciting and easy to follow. Can't wait to read the next one.

5.0 out of 5 stars My magical life to live
Enjoyable, was surprised the main character was Violet this time, but this gave a new view to the Backside of Forty. A struggle to put down
