Make Me Want it Too Kindle Edition

Macy
I’ve just been dumped two weeks before my best friend’s wedding. It gets worse. I’m the maid of honor and my now ex-boyfriend is the groom’s brother and best man.

I’d give anything not to go to this wedding sad and alone.

Enter Wood—charming, life of the party, ladies’ man who could also pass for one of those Greek marble statues—who offers to accompany me as my new fake boyfriend.

The problem is no one will believe someone like
him (a hard ten who dates models) would ever be into someone like me (plain, boring, and introverted).

Wood
I’ve been in love with her since we met. Six years of secret pining. But she was taken.

Offering to be her fake boyfriend is either the smartest or dumbest thing I’ve ever done. Scratch that—offering to help her let off some steam in bed while we’re here has to be the most idiotic. This relationship may be fake, but her orgasms are not.

I know I’m not good enough for her—not intelligent enough, not serious enough—but being with her like this is giving me hope.

Maybe she’ll give me a chance, for real. Or maybe she’ll break my heart.

Lived Up To My Expectations
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🌶️🌶️🌶️ After reading book 1 of the Make Me series I couldn’t wait to read Wood’s story!! Woods is the ultimate golden retriever of MMCs who we have been rooting for since book 1. When the girl he’s loved for years finds herself about to face her recent ex what else do you do but suggest a fake relationship to show the ex that she’s fine without him. Better even! Macy is just completely oblivious as to how much Woods loves and wants to care for her. Her last relationship was devoid of any true affection and she was never the priority. On top of that, living with Type 1 diabetes has made her think she has to do everything for herself and can’t rely on anyone else. I absolutely loved these two together. I loved every time Macy or Woods was able to stick it to her awful ex-boyfriend and his awful family. And I especially loved as Woods helped Macy to come into her own sexuality after realizing how much she had been missing out on with her last relationship. I truly smiled and laughed throughout this entire story and highly recommend this book and series!

Such a sweet book, and a great take on a fake boyfriend trope, although nothing about Wood’s actions are fake. Loved the ending too.

Cinnamon roll mmc, he falls first, only one bed and fake dating.

I read this as a standalone since I haven’t read the first book, and it works just as fine to do so! I enjoyed my time reading this book. They are all in the same friend group and are going to Bex’s and Jake’s wedding, which Macy’s ex also will be present. Whom she definitely wants to avoid getting close to. Wood offers to be her fake boyfriend for the wedding, so Spencer will back off.

I liked the main characters, and Wood – being the cinnamon roll hero we all love to read about. Charming, caring type who’s there for Macy whenever she needs him. Decent spice scenes, and a good story. Recommended read from me.

Thank you so much to NetGalley, the publishers and the author for the opportunity to read this. All opinions expressed are my own.

Make Me Want It Too is my first book from this author, and I enjoyed this standalone romance story a lot. Macy has been with her boyfriend Spencer for 6 years and their relationship seems to be at a standstill. That standstill becomes even more apparent when her best friend Bex announces her engagement to her boyfriend Jake after being together for months. Macy wants more but her boyfriend Spencer is comfortable just where they are in their relationship, and their discussion leads to their breakup. Macy now needs a date to Bex's wedding because Bex's fiancé Jake, is Spencer's brother. Wood is not only in their circle of friends, but he has secretly been in love with Macy for years. He knows Macy deserves more than what Spencer has been giving her, and he gets his chance to prove she deserves more when he pretends to be her date for the wedding and its activities. Their story was one that was filled with greats friends and family, it was sweet, funny, and steamy. There's also family drama, jealousy, a lot of crying on Macy's part which was a bit much and had a sweet that left me with a smile on my face. This may have been my first book from this author, but it definitely won't be my last. I enjoyed this story and lot and would recommend it to all of my romance loving friends.

Thank you NetGalley & RAKE publishing for the early review copy!
It is truly an honor to read Rae’s last two books early.

We left off in book one with Wood hardcore pining for his friend Macy. He fell HARD for her the moment he saw her at a frat party in college. Unfortunately for him, she connected with his ‘rival’, Spencer. Spencer neglected Macy for six years before she realized she didn’t deserve the emotionally abusive relationship. The only issue now is she has to attend her best friend’s wedding to Spencer’s brother, Jake, at their family estate… as the maid of honor… with no date. Wood sees an opportunity and offers up his fake dating services.

I did not think there would be a way to top Livvy & Noah’s story, but Rae blew it out of the water with this one. Mace doesn’t feel like she is worthy of Wood’s love and feels like a burden to everyone. Wood is such a simp for Mace and she doesn’t even realize it. I swear this man would walk miles in the pouring rain just to get 5 minutes with her.

You get plenty of Noah being ‘Noah’, so don’t worry if you’re missing out on that since finishing book one.

I CANNOT WAIT for Bex’s book. Holy cow her storyline and character arc in this book blew my mind.

I seriously love this cast of characters so insanely much, I don’t know what to do with my life until I get the next one.

This is the 2nd story in the Make Me Wish Series where we are part of Bec and Jake’s wedding planning and wedding week and how all their friends and family experience those times. When Spencer ends his 6 year relationship with Macy she’s lost and heartbroken with nowhere to go, Macy finds herself back at Wood’s place. Wood takes this chance to be there for Macy with picking up the pieces. Macy is a nurse who is diabetic and has been responsible for herself at a young age so when Wood takes an interest and helps Macy is surprised and grateful seeing a new side of Wood. Macy becomes overwhelmed with having to spend a week with her ex and his family so Wood offers to go as her plus 1 with as fake boyfriend. Wood is one special man who constantly shows Macy how much he cares only for Macy not seeing it. When Macy allows Wood in they become more quickly and it’s beautiful to see how their feelings become more than fake. When their secret is discovered things go off the rails but Macy stands her ground knowing what she’s worth as a woman and how Wood has shown her that along with their genuine commitment and love bring them
