    Enjoyed this story in the series, look forward to the second one. The heroine was a very different type to the normal girls of that era, but had some spirit thank goodness. I am getting fed up with simmering misses.

    An enjoyable story with mystery, regency lifestyle and a bit of spice. What’s not to like? Only four stars because of occasional grammatical error and I would have liked the story to finish with the come uppance of Aunt Augusta and the village worthies. I really enjoy an epilogue.
