Men of Moose Mountain: Series Boxed Set Books 1-6 Kindle Edition

4.6 out of 5 stars 736 ratings

Moose Mountain is calling more Cooper men home, and this time it’s the women of the town that are in their sights.

Welcome to Woodward Valley, the town living in the shadow of the famous Moose Mountain, where more members of the Cooper family are rewarded for being the mountain's lifelong protectors with five feisty, funny, fantastic women--and a man the mountain's princess never saw coming. And of course, there are lots of cameos by the original Moose Mountain men too.
***
Mountain Seeking Doctor Dr Judd Cooper moves back to his hometown to replace the town's retiring family doctor.
When he mistakes the small town's sweetheart for a thief, the fight is on to get her to not just accept his apology, but also give him her heart.

Mountain Seeking Pilot Helicopter Pilot, Rhys Cooper, has spent his life flying to new heights in dangerous and daring rescues. Now he wants to settle down and build on his own little piece of paradise next to Moose Mountain. Except his plans fall foul of his new conservationist neighbor, Amber. Can butting heads turn to falling in love?

Mountain Seeking Hero Search and Rescue Coordinator, Max Cooper, has heard the mountain’s call. Now he’s returned to his birthplace to see whether the Moose Mountain legend is true for him. He doesn’t expect it to literally hit him in the back of the head though, or for the town’s sweet, shy librarian to be the one for him.

Mountain Seeking Fire Chief The town’s new Fire Chief can run into a burning building, but put him near a cat and he has flashbacks to a near career-ending accident that he’s never forgotten. Enter Bree, Woodward Valley’s resident cat lady, who makes it her mission to win Kane Cooper over, one feline friend at a time.

Mountain Seeking Veterinarian Veterinarian Trace Cooper has traveled the world working with animals, yet its Moose Mountain that has called him home to settle down, and the mountain isn’t making him wait for it. Not when the most beautiful woman he’s ever laid eyes on steps out of her car with her two gorgeous kids in tow and he has an instant vision of the family he’s always wanted.

Mountain Seeking Princess Moose Mountain has been calling her protectors back to the mountain for a reason—she’s under threat and needs to be saved. It’s time to call in a champion and crown a new queen, and the only Cooper sister is ready to help lead her family in the fight of their lives to save the mountain for generations to come.

BONUS - Also includes
Mountain Seeking Santa, a Moose Mountain Christmas novella featuring all your favorite Cooper family members.
***
The Men of Moose Mountain series is just like the Moose Mountain Brothers series before it. It includes the same sweet, flirty, instalove stories you love, but this time you'll get more big, gruff and tough Cooper men--and the one Cooper princess--living their lives on and near the mountain. The mountain has always provided for its keepers, and now it's time for more feisty women to warm up their cold mountain hearts and complete their mountain lives forever. Can we all say, awww.

Meet the Cooper extended family, the cousins of the Moose Mountain brother Coopers from Ms.Michael's first series. They were raised largely outside the state, but taught the family history and traditions. Now they are returning to the home of their hearts and being rewarded by meeting their destined Ones. They need to save the mountain from a greedy developer wanting to exploit mountain's resources, rather than to protect, nurture and husband the gifts the mountain has to give.
I loved these characters and how much richer the character development and the plots of the stories are becoming. It was especially nice that you get to see the characters from the initial series return for visits. It is a large part of what I like about reading series fiction, particularly in a boxset.
I had first been introduced to the author's books after she haad moved to the Eagle Mountain series. I had questions about the early characters you occasionally got to see and the development of structural concepts of the author's world. This series boxset contained all the answers I was seeking and each of these books was very satisfying to read.

I purchased a copy of this boxset and voluntarily chose to share my review.

This is the complete series in one book. It is the story for all five brothers and their sister, plus a fun holiday read at the end. This is a fantastic series. Each brother has a shorter book (100 pages or less), and then the sister’s book is a full length read. The brothers’ books are fast paced mountain man books. Each brother is public service type job. A doc, a fire chief, a veterinarian, etc. There is a lore surrounding the family and the mountain. The mountain calls the men home to protect her. If they protect her, she provides for them in every way. I really loved the series. I look forward to reading Marley’s other books. Fantastic job Marley.

The stories were good but holy hell the lack of basic proofreading or editing made it painful to read. Martie's book was the one I had trouble with believing. It felt forced. But I loved the humor and spice!

Oh. My. Gosh. Six books of swoony Mountain Men and heroines you want to be friends with?! I could not put this box set down - I finished it in 24 hours.

I couldn’t tell you which one was my favorite because all of the characters are so amazingly written. These books are all low-drama, high chemistry, over the top, Alpha-men and of course full of happily ever afters.

Each story is a stand-alone and you can find them as individual books on Amazon if you fancy, however, just get this box set and plan on getting nothing down for a day or two.

If you need me, I’ll be catching up on the other Mountain Men that Marley Michael’s has written because I cannot get enough!

6 books and bonus feature. Mountain magic and protectors. Hot romance and fun, fun stories. The stories are filled with warmth and possibilities and beloved characters. 5 brothers and their sister, finding their present and their future. How much did I love these stories -- I am picking up more stories as I can. I love the glimpses of the Cooper cousins (earlier books) and the hints of upcoming stories of the brothers of Bear Mountain. Huge bravo!!

I read a Facebook synopsis about the Men of Moose Mountain series Boxed set by Marley Michaels. I thought why not, I like rugged mountain men, it's available under Kindle Unlimited so the price is right, I'll try it. Throughout the first book, Mountain Seeking Doctor, I kept thinking I am missing something, not sure what though. It ended all too quickly and I felt I barely knew the main characters. There was the usual "is this really true love" building to "Yes! I have found my soulmate" but it happened in a blink of an eye. The whole time I felt like I was missing the critical point about the role of Moose Mountain. Yet, the sex was really hot so I moved on to the second book.
It was around the third or fourth book that I realized two things. First, there is another series before this one involve the original Moose Mountain men, cousins to the Men in this box set. Perhaps reading that series first would have made me feel less unsettled about the missing pieces of the story line.
Secondly, as I read each subsequent book ,the characters and their world became more defined. However, it is not until the sixth and final book that everything comes together. In Mountain Seeking Princess, I finally understood the whole legend of Moose Mountain and all the characters roles. It is not until the final book that the author adds the twists and turns, that make these novels something more then just a whole lot of sex in a whole lot of different ways. Not that there is anything wrong with really hot sex! I just think that a good romance balances the really good sex with an equally strong plot.
In the end, these novels were entertaining and a easy read. Yet, I remained disappointed in the lack of well developed characters and plot. Maybe if I read the previous series first, I would feel differently. However, now that I am caught up in the legend of Moose Mountain, I am thinking about reading the next series on Bear Mountain men as it is a spin -off from Moose Mountain.

This is a follow on to Moose Mountain Brothers. These are the cousins stories. Equally as good but a little longer. Loved them all, they are a feel good series of books like the bothers. If you like a good read, that's fun, with good romance too, and an on going story grab these books. There is another I hear, Bear Mountain, which I am considering.
Was reading another series, bit harder and darker, but need to wait for a book release in a couple of days?????

This is a set of feel good books with an underlying theme and story running throughout. All are connected and as you go through life on the mountain you get more involved with the characters, understanding their drivers. I really enjoyed Moose Mountain and its call to the Coopers, definately worth reading. You will get engrossed, the last book was a bit if a tear jerker, when a read does that you know its good. Well written, worth investing the time reading. Easy reading.

4.0 out of 5 stars Better than the last one
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on December 7, 2023
I left a three star review after reading Moose Mountain Brothers saying it was too much like Mills and Boon. Then I went and purchased this one and found the stories better leading into the actual declarations of love and loving one another for ever and having babies etc. I still think in this day and age this area needs modernising but I did enjoy the introductions of partners and the stories involved. I think I will order the next one and hope some updating has taken place.
I appreciate the hard work it must take to produce a book and how hard it must be to come up with new ideas. Maybe just a tweak here and there would work? I shall see on the next one.
