    This is a quick, spicy story, but there is also more to it.

    Mercy has been crushing on her older brothers best friends for years and when she finally gets the courage to say something to them they deny her. This moment changed Mercy and the course of her life.

    I liked Mercy. She wasn’t afraid to speak her mind in the beginning. However, there is a lot that happens to her over the years and she loses herself and builds up so many walls to protect herself no one gets close. I loved seeing her discover herself again and slowly learn it is okay to let the walls down and let people in. Cain, Grant, and Linc….well these are three rather alpha marines, especially where Mercy is concerned.

    These four characters have insane amounts of chemistry and I love that each of the men are patient, protective, and caring.

    If you’re looking for a brothers best friends, military, RH, second chance romance check this one out.

    Overall this short romance and spicy scenes were okay. The main issue I have with this book is that it starts off with the 3 main male characters dismissing and rejecting the female character. Later on when they get back into each other’s lives the men have decided that they did nothing wrong and the seven years apart his somehow FC’s fault! Oh boy did this make me mad! So, if you are easily angered by ridiculousness you should probably stay away from this read!

    I’ve only read one other one by this author and boy does this one speak for itself! Turned on doesn’t even describe it best!

    I feel for Mercy and all she’s gone through with her emotions and her longing. These three men did something I actually didn’t think would happen and it rocked her off sides. You can feel the sexual tension but also so much more with all of them.

    I couldn’t put this book down! The slow burn of the build up was intoxicating and I loved it. I’m diving into the next one of this series because I love a good group session!

    I have to say I was pleasantly surprised at the "good stuff" being presented right from the jump! Normally you gotta wait till around 40-50% read before you get to the "meat and potatoes" of these adventurous types of stories!
    I was also pleased and grateful the author got the military references correct. Being in a large military (all branches) family, mixing up the terminology between the different branches is irritating... Navy = sailor or squid, unless you're a SEAL then you can use Frogman, Marines = Jarhead (never call them soldiers!); Army = soldiers, Air Force = fly boys/ girls.... if you want to refer to all of the branches as a whole, they are armed forces, or special forces if referring to the elite members like SEALs, Green Beret etc...
