    Enjoyable mystery...I liked the characters and they were believable even if the reasons for the crimes were not very believable.
    More realistic than most cozy mysteries, the heroine didn’t think she would be targeted as a suspect and the police were not buffoons. I will be reading the neit book in the series.

    I voluntarily read this book for Hidden Gems. I did enjoy this book. There were places where there was more background information than was necessary to tell the story. And there were things that were blatantly mentioned and then disregarded. All I can say is I really hope that this is part of a series.

    I really enjoyed reading about the small town of Lawrence. The characters reminded me of people I know. Nice unfolding of the mystery that surrounds the killings. I will definitely be looking at more books written by this author. It drew me in and kept me wanting to read more!

    I honestly don't usually read these kind witches, warlocks sorcery mysteries. I normally read the contemporary or the classic mysteries, however, I loved this book very much. It kept my attention from beginning to end.I missed it when I went to work. I raced home after work to continue to read it. I even rescheduled my plans so I could have more time to read. The twist and turns in this book were many and constant. They left me wanting to continue to read. The characters and settings were well-written and three dimensional. They stay with you. I can see this book turning into a movie in the near future. It was so vivid. The mystery was unpredictable. It was hard to guess the outcome. I will not talk about it because I don't want to give anything anyway. So read it! Very nicely done. I received this book as an ARC for an honest review. And I am so glad I did. lol
