- Reviewed in the United States on January 25, 2020Steven goes home for the holidays and his boyfriend Edmund doesn't follow being too busy at work. Steven know things aren't going well, but doesn't want to give up on his relationship. An accident sends him to the hospital and the readers being pulled into a mystery that keeps you reading, trying to find out what is real and what is not. Steven wakes up in a universe that he doesn't recognize and he can't figure out what is going on. His parents have changed. His town has totally changes and he is pulled into schemes and meets men he feels he needs to pursue in order to get back home. What is Steven meant to learn in this fantasy world he woke up in? Who is he supposed to fall in love with? the only way is to reach the end to get to the HEA waiting for you. I found the book intriguing and would recommend this book to anyone who enjoys reading a fairy tale that leads the hero to his HEA.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 5, 2020This story is very interesting yet confusing to me. Steven is a guy who’s boyfriend is a workaholic and Rich is a carpenter who is working on his mother’s house??? Only thing is is Steven doesn’t remember Rich working at his mothers home before the accident and many other things feel unrighteousness to him as well like his mother & father are not as he remembered them being... the book is sweet but the storyline got confusing in places so I had to skip around to figure what was going on.
