    I actually started reading this author more than a year after this series was published. I thought at the time, "I need to read these books from the beginning!" Well, this IS the beginning.
    I think these books benefit from being in a boxset because they build the premise for all of the author's other stories. One part of the family legend of the Spirit of the Mountain providing for ALL the needs of the men who live on her slopes, love her beauty, and husband and conserve her resources, is revealed in each story.
    I purchased a copy of this boxset from Amazon and voluntarily chose to share my review.

    I am now all caught up on All the Mountain Men, and woman! I have loved every single story, I would most definitely give more stars if I could!!

    One thing I would have liked to see in each book, and keep in mind I am only a reader, not a writer, but I would love to have read about at least ONE wedding, and at least ONE birth. I would have enjoyed at least ONE couple meeting the woman’s family. Just my thoughts.
    I truly enjoy all of Ms. Michaels works, completely! Keep up the great writing!!!

    I’d love to give this book 5 stars, but I just can’t.

    It’s not because of the Insta love. The writing is decent. But the editing leaves a lot to be desired. I’ve read most of both Moose Mountain series.

    I like the characters, I liked the town, I like the stories, but like I said the proofreading/editing left a lot to be desired.

    I don’t know if the author was in a hurry or what, but the errors throughout the whole series were small ones — mostly misspelled/misused words — but they were enough in my opinion to take away my enjoyment of the stories.

    I’ve always said it and I’ll say it again, if you’re self published, that doesn’t mean to skip the editing/proofreading. I may read more from this author I’m not really sure yet.

    Also, a lot of the terminologies were European/British instead of American. If you’re writing for a mostly American audience (since your setting is in America — Alaska to be precise) you should know the proper terms.

    Overall not a bad series. I’ll leave a review for the other Moose Mountain series once I complete it.
