    This is the first book by Blake that I have read. May Moore is a sheriff’s deputy. The case she is working is about girls being found dead in the local lake. They have a serial killer on their hands. The FBI is coming to help. The only problem with that is May’s sister is one of the agents coming to help. They don’t have the best relationship. May is determined to figure out who is responsible despite her sister trying to side line her. The characters in this book were great. May is a great deputy. She asks the right questions and follows the leads. Personal I think her sister is a crap FBI agent. She doesn’t seem to investigate but jump in. There is a chance that the case could be connected to their younger sister’s disappearance. I enjoyed this book a lot. I look forward to reading the other books in this series. Great job Blake.

    May, a newly promoted deputy is put on the case but as more girls go missing the FBI is called in. May is not happy about it because her older sister will be running the investigation. May has always been the underdog to Kelley and Kelley has always felt superior to May.

    As the investigation proceeds May takes it upon herself to follow her own instincts. This gets her in trouble with her boss. But that doesnt stop her.May is determined to see this through.

    This storyline has more to do with the sisters as opposed to the actual crimes . Although the crimes do get solved, its more about them.

    This is the story of hometown girl May Moore who has just been promoted in her police department to Deputy Sheriff and not even her parents seem to acknowledge that she is not just some country Sheriff who doesn't know how to catch a killer. She has a sister who is a famous FBI Agent and gets all the accolades and it seems that anything May does is insignificant until this case. I really didn't think I would enjoy this book but as it turns out it was really good 👍🏾. I would recommend this book 📚📖.

    This author has been a bit of a favourite of mine and I found so many of his books of high quality, but this story - and I'm a third way thru - really makes me wonder if it was written as an AI experiment. The writing seems to be Junior High school level, the dialogue is trite, lacking authenticity and the storyline seems just a rehash of so many others. My advice to such an expierenced author is to withdraw it from publication.

A story of two sisters 2ho seem never to see eye to eye, finally bringing justice but at what ends.
