    Fast-paced, steamy and engrossing, this book takes you on a rollercoaster of emotions from the prologue which takes place in the middle of an intense hurricane straight through to the end, with a number of twists and turns along the way.

    Nolan loses his best friend Lenny when he's literally swept out to sea by the Hurricane Nina. He and Lenny's wife Olivia are left to grieve and pull together the pieces of their shattered lives a best they can. The first chapter skips two years into the future, and we see how people deal with their grief in different ways - Nolan's preferred method is meaningless sex, but Olivia can't even think about sex with anyone but her husband, even though he's been gone all this time. The only constant in either of their lives is each other, their bond formed by years of friendship and their mutual love for Lenny. The author does a great job of showing how the characters grow closer over time, with emotions too powerful to contain. Warning: take the "steamy romance" of the series title seriously as there is a lot of sex in this story.

    This is the second story in the "After Hurricane Nina" that I have had read. I really enjoyed this one a lot. They are stand alone stories with great characters and plots. This story started off very tragic!! Then a resolution for a new year! I felt for Livi and Nolan. She lost her husband and he lost his best friend. A fun friendship and threesome, but not the way you would think, developed between Livi, Nolan and Lenny. Then tragedy struck! Just when all hope of him coming home is lost, the two start to move forward then a twist occurs along with pain, guilt and remembrance develop. This is a painful story with some sexy times and a happy ending. I really enjoyed this story and cannot wait to read the next "After Hurricane Nina" story.

    Super hot and sexy read!! Nolan's best friend Lenny died saving others during Hurricane Nina. He turned to a life of meaningless sex to fill the void of his loss. The only thing he could commit to was being there and watching out for Lenny's widow Olivia.

    Olivia had been having trouble moving on from the loss of her husband. She'd dated, but she couldn't commit. She couldn't even have sex with them. So Nolan decided they should set up resolutions together. He'd give up meaningless sex until she had sex.

    This was a wonderful well-written book that had me turning the pages to get to the end and see that they got their happily ever after. I enjoyed it and I know you will too. I can't wait to read the next in this series.

    Nolan is still feeling guilt from the loss of his best friend with even helping to support the friends widow. Leaving both of them struggling with their own emotional ups and downs without realizing their own feelings each other are starting to grow.

    Nolan and Olivia looses a lot after a hurricane sweeps her husband Lenny out to sea. Lenny and Nolan were best friends and Nolan has a hard time finding himself afterwards. It is a touching story based upon real circumstances. It will touch your heart and have you in Nolan and Olivia's corner to find happiness once again. I voluntarily agreed to receive an ARC of this book for an honest review.

    I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this series!

    Nolan's story was Awesome!!! In each of these novels, the characters are so real it's like they can be your best friend or your next door neighbor. I Loved how this novel focused on a best friend and how he took care of his lost friend's love, Olivia. At times I was hoping that they would get together and others, not so much!

    I am a person who LOVES the storylines but doesn't need all the bedroom details. Even with skipping all of that, this novel lost absolutely NOTHING! I couldn't put it down and had to finish it in one sitting.

    YOU HAVE TO READ THIS AND THE REST OF THE SERIES!!!! IT IS A MUST!!!! You definitely will NOT be disappointed!
