Wicked Lies was an excellent read. The characters relatable. Well not like Boston ivy league upper crust type but Chance, Keeley, Ford, Link...all the adopted kids who had to deal with social services. Dysfunctional families. Integration into the system. Learning what a real family dynamic is and how to navigate in this new world. That is real strength. And how perfect that Chance yes, chance would keep bringing Keeley and him together? Keeley ends up saving Chance from himself. And Chance saves Keeley from her toxic family wrapping her into the fold of his adoptive family with his heart and arms open wide. If you are a fan of fate, karma or love at first sight this is a must read. I have voluntarily left this review.

    "Keeley was the bright light in my shadows and I wasn't sure that I could risk dimming that light."

    Of all the Ridge Rogues, I think Chance is going to be my favorite!! I love a broken hero, and I love that the self-thought impenetrable wall can be destroyed by the right woman.

    So, we have Chance. A broken childhood, he putts up a wall around himself, portraying an arrogant, untouchable womanizer. But underneath, he's hiding a world of secrets, hurt, and pain.

    Then we have Keeley. She's shy and feeling like, although she has great friends, she doesn't quite fit in. Finding herself homeless and doing all she can to hide it from everyone, she finds herself with a forced roommate - Chance. They are polar opposites, but the pull between them is undeniable. She just needs to keep her distance, right?

    These two were perfect together, and the reason they seem fated to be together will melt your heart!!

    What a great addition to this series!! Definitely grab it!

    Hands down the best book of this series!!! In all honesty I do not read a lot of college based romances or books but this is one series that continues to get better and better with each book. The level of emotional impact on these characters is phenomenal. You feel what they are experiencing and can’t stop turning the pages. Plus the story keeps you engaged and needing more with the suspense of what could be happening. If you haven’t started this you are missing out.

    Chance, a playboy of sorts who is living his single life in his apartment by himself, that is until a homeless girl named Keeley is forced to live with him . Chance who is not happy about this situation, decides he wants to make Keeley miserable, that is until he finds a bucket list and he wants to help her cross some of the items off. Chance is keeping secrets, even his “family” don’t know about, but they start coming to light. Keeley, has a over protective father, who has plans for his daughter..

    I liked the mystery with the backstory for both Keeley and Chase, and I liked the sweet moments between them. Unfortunately, the ending was too rushed and I wasn’t excited by him being rude to everybody and sleeping with randos all the time, but Keeley still swoons over him. I didn’t really swoon over Chase. Also, I felt their jump to deeper feelings didn’t work for me; too fast and the chemistry wasn’t there. The story was still entertaining and there was some decent steam, so I’m going 3 stars.

    Chance was looking forward to having his apartment to himself while his roommate was studying abroad, but with the help of his do-gooder brother he now has a new roommate. Keeley is the last person he ever saw himself living with, but once she is there he starts to enjoy having her around... for a multitude of reasons. Main one being that she intrigues him.

    There is a mystery about her, a part of her that he wants to unravel. He wants to know everything about the beautiful lost girl, but once he knows all her secrets will he still feel the same? Their pasts are intertwined and once he begins to fill in the blanks, things become a whole lot more complicated. Will their secrets bring them closer together, or tear them apart?

    Between the pages of Wicked Lies you will find a perfectly crafted story of two people who are thrown together for the sake of convivence, but soon learn that maybe there was more at play then just mere coincidence. They feel a instant connection that neither understands or wants to embrace at first, but the more time they spend with one another the closer they start to become. There are parts of their lives they don't care to remember, but it's those times in their pasts that unite them in a way they never expected. Chance claims he isn't built for love or relationships, but once Keeley finds her way into his life, he begins to wonder if he was wrong about love all along.

    I loved what I found waiting for me amongst the pages here, the moment I met these characters I found myself completely enamored with them. So much so, that I got wrapped up in their story and stayed up well past my bedtime to devour every word. I had to see this one through and find out if these two would discover the happily ever after they so desperately deserved. It was such an emotional journey, one with many ups and downs, but well worth every ounce of torture the words stirred up. Highly recommend this one, it characters are certain to steal every part of your heart!
