On a Tuesday: A Second Chance Romance (One Week Series Book 1) Kindle Edition

4.4 out of 5 stars 6,130 ratings

A Top 10 Amazon bestseller!

We met on a Tuesday.
Became best friends, then lovers, on a Tuesday.
And everything fell apart on a Tuesday...

Charlotte Taylor has three automatic strikes in my book: 1) She hates me. She also claims that I'm a "domineering jerk with a huge, overbearing ego." (I do have something huge. It's not my ego, though.) 2) She takes our mandatory tutoring sessions way too seriously. 3) She's sexy as hell...And
a virgin.

At least, those were her strikes before our study sessions started lasting longer than they were supposed to. Until one innocent kiss became a hundred dirty ones, and until she became the first woman I ever fell hard for.

Our future together after graduation was supposed to be set:
Professional football for me. Law school for her.

But she left me at the end of the semester with no explanation, and then she completely disappeared from my life.

Until tonight.

We met on a Tuesday.
Became everything, then nothing, on a Tuesday.
And now it's seven years later, on a Tuesday...

**This is a second chance romance, inspired by Adele's "When We Were Young"**

On a Tuesday is a sweet second chance sports romance. Told in dual perspectives with dual timelines, this is a story about first love, first times, a big secret, and a big heartbreak. It's a short book, with short chapters, so it can be read in a day or two if you're looking for a quick contemporary romance.

Grayson is a senior in college, and the quarterback of the team. Actually the winning team since he showed up as a freshman. Both he and his best friend Kyle have put their school on top. Grayson just found out that he needs to get a tutor for a Literature course that he honestly just put aside. He has a 4.0 on record but to graduate he needs the Literature credits.

Charlotte is s a sweet and beautiful senior in college who loves art, but is looking to get a law degree. When her advisor calls her in, he tells her there was a mistake done and she needs additional credits to graduate. She is very upset because this is the first she's been told. Her advisor asks her to wait outside his office while he gets with the Dean to see what they can do. When he tells her that they can offer her the opportunity to tutor another student in exchange, she agrees.

Charlotte is waiting at a coffee shop on campus, but the girl is running late apparently. When she spots Greyson coming in then going to the counter she lets out a sigh. Then she chokes when he approaches her and asks if she's Charlotte. He is absolutely gorgeous, plus cocky as heck. He's also God's gift to women on campus. She wants no part of that. She says everything she can to change his mind about working with her, but he says no and agrees to meet next Tuesday.

Greyson has never met a woman who denied him anything. Charlotte is a totally different woman from all the others who basically throw themselves at him. He is intrigued by her and asks his best friend Kyle what he thinks. He hears Charlotte goes on dates but never has sex, so she's being ignored by most guys on campus. But there's those few who want to try their luck.

Grayson asks every week for her phone number and she keeps denying her. When Greyson spots Charlotte's best friend Nadira, he goes over to her to ask what he can do to get Charlotte to open up to him. She finally gives her ideas, and he's smiling as he walks away.

This story takes you through all of their special moments but also the heartbreaking ones too. Can Charlotte ever feel that she is good enough for him? Can she get over all the women throwing themselves his way? Will Greyson ever realize her insecurities and prove them wrong?

So good! So much pressure for Greyson. I definitely need more now ! Keep going Whitney G and I will keep reading! Enjoy

After many frustrating delays, the highly anticipated release of "ON A TUESDAY", by Whitney G has finally arrived ON A TUESDAY in September!  I’ve become a real fan of Whitney G over this past year.  As one might imagine, I was completely captivated by not only the alluring cover, but the clever title and the teasing links to “Tuesday” events.  Plus, it’s a second chance romance after these characters spend seven years apart residing in Splitsville.  The temptations were high, and there was no way I was going to miss this gem.

A cocky football jock meets a sexy-nerdy-tutor-virgin-type on a TUESDAY and, after some rather hard knocks she sends his way, lives to tell his tale.  I love how Charlotte Taylor puts Grayson Connors through the paces before she falls prey to his charming and devilish ways.  Everything is going hot and heavy . . . and then she disappears without a word on a TUESDAY.

Seven years later and, of course, on a TUESDAY -- well, you’ll need to read this story for yourself and find out what happens.  Believe me, it is worth your time.  And there are plenty of ups and downs and underhanded lies and heartbreaks, along with steamy kisses and hot bedroom scenes. Whitney G. nails the chemistry, the banter, the tension, and all those things that are essential in a great romance, and she’s wrapped them all up in a super sexy, tattooed football player who stole my heart.

He’s that guy who is the envy of every other guy and the one that every girl on campus desires.  You know the one I’m talking about – but Grayson Connors  wants more and when he sees her, he’ll stop at nothing to make her his own.  You'd be totally wrong if you think Grayson doesn't have more than football going for him.  This guy is an Honor Student.  So why does he need a tutor?

And the beauty who changed Grayson's playboy ways, Charlotte, was equally as lovable, smart and talented -- and an Honor Student, too.  She was a dynamite match for our award winning super athlete.  Opposites really do attract and their chemistry was explosive.  But she's wary of guys like the one she's been assigned to tutor.

"ON A TUESDAY" is exactly what I expected it to be.  I only wish it had been longer.  There were a couple of dangling ends and unanswered questions that popped up during the read which left me a bit disappointed.  There were mentions of family members who never made appearances, but did hint of personal history that didn’t come with any solid answers.  For example, I would have like to have known if Charlotte’s dad had been a coach.  And it was mentioned that Grayson’s father had been a pro-player as well, but still no solid verification.  Just little items, but ones that I felt needed closure and might have given a little more explanation on the actions of both Charlotte and Grayson.

With a fresh new spin on a popular theme, this is a second chance worth the wait.  Whitney G once again WOWS with another terrific rom-com.  I didn’t want it to end.  If you need an afternoon delight with some spark, I highly recommend joining Charlotte and Grayson in their search for happily-ever-after!

Loved this book! Was a great quick read with brilliant characters and a good story line.

I really enjoyed that there wasn't over the top drama and that the characters connected well and were engaging when reading about them. Fell in love with Grayson just a little bit - who could resist him?!

When someone is as determined as the most popular quarter-back of his college, to get a beautiful girl to go out with him and comes up against some top opposition, which he was not use to. As most girls tend to throw themselves at him, he was definately up for the challenge to wear her down, which he does eventually. But being drafted into the big league games in New York tends to bring not so honest people out of the woodwork to work for their own agenda. The separation between Charlotte and Grayson, because of their jobs and his dishonest PA, Anna when she prevented them from communicating with each other, which did à lot of damage to their trust for one another. Especially as Charlotte found out she was pregnant with Grayson's baby which was stillborn and had to go through it on her own as Anna blocked all her calls to Grayson. But love finds à way to solve these problems ànd will not rest until it finds it's way to be reunited. Loved this well written story and as the saying goes, love will not be denied. Great read.

I loved this book. It is an actual romance story rather than an erotica wrapped up in romance. It will make your heart swoop with happiness once you pick it up and read it.

This is the story about Grayson and Charlotte. It is about their romance. Its a high school sweetheart second chance romance. A must read for all the romance fans.

I liked this story from the very beginning, it only got worse, I couldn't put it down. I absolutely loved everything about this book (the characters, the story line...). I loved the "then" but I would have liked a little more "now". Whitney G.'s are always amazing, this one is no exception.
