Oops: A brother's best friend romance Kindle Edition
I always thought the feelings were one-sided but recently, I’m beginning to suspect otherwise.
A subtle touch here.
An inappropriate comment there.
A smoldering look.
A sexy wink.
And then it happens, we hook up.
It’s everything I ever imagined and more but we can never be, can we?

About the author

DL Gallie writes spicy romance with elements of comedy and suspense. She currently lives in Central Queensland, Australia, her husband and two kids but has lived in many different places around the world and within Australis. She and her husband have been together since she was sixteen, and although they drive each other crazy at times, she couldn’t imagine her life without him.
Shortly after her son was born, DL began reading again. With encouragement from her husband, she picked up the pen and started writing, and now the voices in her head won’t shut up.
DL enjoys listening to music, drinking white wine in the summer, red wine in the winter, and beer all year round. She’s also never been known to turn down a cocktail, especially a margarita.
~Happy Reading~

- Reviewed in the United States on January 20, 2021I love sibling's best friend books and have been dying to read this one since I first heard about it. This is a super quick read, but that doesn’t stop this from being a great little story.
Lawson was Mia's older brothers best friend. Mia had been inlove with Lawson since she was ten years old. Mia was scared to start anything up with Lawson due to thinking it will ruin the friendship between Lawson and her brother Travis.
A wonderfully written rom-com that I highly recommend.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 12, 2021Mia doesn’t remember a time that she hasn’t loved her brother’s best friend Lawson, but she also believes they have two strikes against them which are her brother and the fact that he will never see her as more than a friend.
When Lawson sees Mia at a friend’s wedding, he finally sees her as the woman she is and not his best friend’s sister. After realizing she feels the same way he isn’t about to let anyone or anything stand in their way and that includes his best friend.
The interactions between them were humorous and hot and I really enjoyed watching the relationship between Lawson and Mia unfold especially with the input from their friends and family.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 5, 2024When you have a lot of friends and all of them get married except for you, it can get annoying.
This is how we meet Mia, who is always a bridesmaid at someone else's wedding.
The man she wants is so out of reach that it isn't funny.
The man in question, is her older brother's best friend, Lawson.
So, when sparks fly, they fly.
I listened to this audiobook. The narrators were perfect in their roles!
Another winner for DL!
- Reviewed in the United States on August 1, 2022I gave this book three stars-
Only because I felt there wasn't enough build up with the characters, that having one sentence on the page for the chapter multiple times in the book took away from the flow of the book for me. I liked the characters of Mia and Lawson and liked that they got their HEA in the end. - By Carlie
- Reviewed in the United States on January 13, 2021This could be a lot better. I'm just gonna throw my words out there so there may be a lot of grammar mistakes. This story gets an extra star only because I was able to make it to the ned and because of its one of my favourite tropes. That also means that I've read a lot of books in this trope and this may be one of my least favourites. While it was pretty okay, it was a bit boring. Or slow as some might say. All the events were expected. There was way too much vulgarness if you get where I'm coming from. Just warning you. This story had a lot of potentials. It was a good idea and was fine in the starting. It felt like it was slow and fast at the same time. Events were randomly thrown in and disorganized.

- Reviewed in the United States on January 11, 2021Mia has been crushing on her brothers best friend for years. During wedding season, when all their friends were getting married, Lawson started flirting back. What started as an innocent touch here and wink there, landed them in bed together. But it could never go beyond one hook up... Right?
Okay, what can I say about Oops?
It is a brothers best friend romance. Short, sweet and cute.
Mia has always had a thing for her older brothers best friend. But because of the bro-code, where sisters were definitely off limits, nothing could ever happen.
But in a turn of events in the midst of attending their friends' wedding, Lawson started flirting back. One thing led to another, and oops... Mia and Lawson slept together.
The book was short, I read it within a couple hours. Sweet, and cute- I love the siblings best friend trope. This book was light and fun. A good quick read that I enjoyed. 3.5 ⭐ out of 5⭐.
- Reviewed in the United States on May 3, 2024The audio version was my first venture into this story, and absolutely loved it.
The narrators were perfect, and felt they captured and embodied these characters.
The story itself was, quick, sweet, steamy and fun!
I listened to this in one sitting. The brothers best-friend trope is one of my favorites, and 'Oops' did not disappoint.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 17, 2021This is the 3rd book I've read written by DL Gallie; she has done a great job at writing a good book; I can’t wait to read more of her books.
The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.

3.0 out of 5 stars Love a good brothers best friend romance
It’s actually a 3.5 star read for me. I feel as if this book was a little longer and maybe had more of a build up between the two main characters, and maybe a little more with the brother and the best friends relationship that this book definitely would be a five star.
I understand it was an anthology piece so I understand why it’s so quick, but in saying that, it is a great original storyline with some great banter and chemistry.
