Oral Persuasion: Male/Male Enemies to Lovers Office Romance Series Kindle Edition
My opposing counsel is so cocky that it's maddening. He thinks he's got me beat in this case, but he's got another thing coming. I didn't work my way up through law school and the ranks of my competitive firm just to watch his hot @ss swagger across the courtroom to deliver a winning oral argument.
Yes, I just said he had a hot @ss. In fact, everything about him is hot. And he knows it, too.
I'm not going to let that distract me, though. It doesn't matter that he's openly flirting with me - he isn't even gay, so he must be able to tell that I am, and I know he's just turning on the charm to take my focus off my case.
Besides, even if I did want him - which I don't,- it's not exactly as if I'm out at work. There are certain stereotypes I must uphold as a lawyer at my prestigious firm and being gay is not one of them.
As I'm diligently pursuing victory for my client, though, Andrew is increasing his pursuit of me. He insinuates that he'd be gay for me and that we could keep it a secret. He seems to think I can keep working my way up the corporate ladder while also going down on him.
Fine, maybe a forbidden fling with him would be fun. But blowing him could blow my whole case - and both of our careers.
So why am I finding myself unable to ignore the powerful hold he has on me?

Editorial Reviews
Review
"This splendid, well-written MM romance series has three wonderful, heartwarming previously published books in it & I truly found it a pleasure to read all of them. The various characters are complex individuals with unique personalities which continue to develop throughout the story-lines & there is good support from the secondary characters. The story-lines are interesting and well-written with intriguing plots that are quite suspenseful at times." Patricia Hoffstaetter
"I enjoyed this whole series .... This is my second time reading this series ... I read them individually when they first came out and loved it in each book is 2 hot characters with hot chemistry but as the series goes along you will see all the characters are friends with each other ....... - Reviewed in the United States on January 24, 2020I had previously read the first two books in this series, So, this review is about the third book, Christopher and Nigel's story. This is what love 💘 looks like. This is what not letting outside forces break up your relationship looks like. This book gently reminds the reader to continue to be aware of HIV without sounding preachy. The book also reminds the reader that money, fame and recognition is nothing when you have no one to share it with. I read a lot of Ian Finn 's books not only because he's an amazing romantic writer, but because his books are meaningful. Thank You Mr. Finn for sharing this series. I loved it.

Opposing Briefs
This M/M romance had me totally hooked from the very first page! The storyline was well written and the characters were so well defined that as I turned each page I felt like Logan and Andrew jumped from the pages and pulled me right into their story as it unfolded!
Oral Arguments
The good storyline and well rounded characters made this book a very enjoyable and entertaining read! I always look forward to reading more from this author!
Out Maneuvered
The plot was well written and well planned with characters that were written with such great detail and depth that I was totally engaged as I turned each and every page until the very end!

- Reviewed in the United States on May 7, 2022I really liked the three books, their lives and ending to their stories. However the typos and grammatical errors were beyond annoying. How did they ever get past a proof reading or spell/check.
- Reviewed in the United States on November 30, 2019I have read every book that has come out so I can say that I really love the characters and their stories. the books really keep my attention and I have to know what happens next. Thanks for the happy endings.
- Reviewed in the United States on September 10, 2019When you feel like it is right you can almost always trust yourself to make the right choice in spite of what may happen. I found this story to be a great example of what time can heal. You just need to open up and see what a few years can change. Someone that you hated before in spite of his good looks can sure turn out to be the love of you life the way it did in this book. I would highly recommend this to anyone who likes a male/male romance.
- Reviewed in the United States on October 2, 2019I enjoyed all three stories. Lost a bit of sleep. Couldn't put the book down. The characters are fabulous and so full of life.
- Reviewed in the United States on January 17, 2021I made it through the first book in this box set, struggling the whole way and hoping things would improve. The first few chapters of the second book were exactly the same, which was when I decided I didn't need to lose more hours of my life on this box set. Also, the realization that Amanda was going to be a recurring character who viewed herself as just here to help all these poor gay men sort out their lives, tee hee, was extremely uncomfortable.
All the characters in the first book and the start of the second were very flat; the dialogue was unrealistic and also flat. The first book was "enemies to lovers" and had a promising prosecutor vs high-profile defense attorney legal angle, but the minute Andrew started questioning his sexuality all the relationship conflict vanished, leaving the rest of the conflict hinging on Andrew's cartoonishly villainous wife and boss. And yes, I did say wife; he's married at the time he starts a romantic and sexual relationship with Logan. The fact that his wife Maria (who is, in addition to being cartoonishly villainous, a very uncomfortable "hot-tempered Latina" stereotype) is also cheating on him may or may not reconcile you to this element of the plot, especially since Andrew doesn't realize she's cheating at the time she decides to (though the reader can probably spot it).
As for Andrew's boss, he--a lawyer--assaults Logan in public without consequences. He also fires Andrew for being gay. I think. I was feeling a little stupefied by that point by the fact that Andrew's boss had just broken Logan's leg (!) by tripping him at a marathon, and everyone had been expecting him to, again, fire an employee (a lawyer!) for his sexuality for over half the book, so I sincerely might have forgotten what actually happened (rarely a good sign). This book is set in New York, where that has been illegal since 2002, but everyone treats it as a perfectly reasonable course of action without any remedy.
There were only a few minor typos, but with nothing else to recommend this box set clean editing isn't worth a second star.

3.0 out of 5 stars 3 books
Book 1 - Opposing Briefs: Andrew and Logan, pretty enjoyable book with a few unbelievable situations that had me shaking my head.
Book 2 - Oral Arguments: Matt and Calvin, Matt is a secondary character from Opposing Briefs who is now the main character and the unbelievable situations continue to make me shake my head.
Book 3 - Out Maneuvered: Nigel and Christopher, Nigel was a secondary character in Oral Arguments and is now the main character.
The second and third book was confusing as the seem to be out of sequence with the ending of the second and the continuation of the third book. I also had a hard time reading that in this day and age someone could be terminated for their sexual preferences. I've read quite a few of Ian Finn's book and really enjoyed them, not so much this set. Was expecting more.

5.0 out of 5 stars Three linked good stories
Having the back story of book one helped book two, which in turn added to book three, 3 separate stories, yet linked by characters, all of them complex and believable. Three good plots, with the added satisfaction of the good guys get to win, plus some great sex scenes!
