This is a great short story. In spite of the short length, we have time to get to know the protagonist. The story is interesting with a great twist. It also makes you think about many well intentioned policies.

This is a short story and not a book. It might actually have the capacity to get turned into a novel. Not in the quality of Heinlein or Asimov, yet still somewhat creative by its premise.

I got this as a freebie today and enjoyed it immensely. Set in a future America where an alien species interferes with abortions by stealthy removing the unwanted children then implanting the fetuses into adoptive surrogates, an agent is sent to investigate such a suspected illegal birth and discovers something stunning. It's a thought provoking read which I recommend and enjoyed.

An excellent and clever short story, and while the twist near the end might be predictable, it's totally satisfying. Beautifully done, Mr Gillespie.

This is a truly thought provoking story. While it is short it packs a real puch.

This was a good short read. Totally different concept than anything else I have read. It tackles the abortion issue with a very unique solution.

It was ok, but I could not really get into it
