    REVIEW
Twas a harsh existence in Dark Age Britain, and that's without the tribal conflicts. The author has brought forth a scintillating view of that time period weaving together a tale that brings together every facet of life; from trade, tribal alliances, the everyday tasks to survive, the adherence to a pantheon of blood thirsty gods, and the savagery of warfare. In this episode, Meliora is taxed seemingly beyond her limit by all of the strife, stress, untold secrets, family divisiveness, and the demands put on her as a healer. In a spell binding way the author leads the reader through the various plots, subplots and challenges facing Fur Benyn and her people. Another definite hard to put down tale awaits you my fellow readers of the Tribes of Britain...oh yeah, the cliffhanger ending...can't wait to read book 4. 5 Stars

Really like that there is a strong female main character, and one who is an elder! Always interesting to read about historical details about culture, weapons, medicine and treatment of illness in the Bronze Age. Some violence but not excessive in my opinion.

Recommend for any who enjoy realism interwoven with the imagination of the author. Character development and the reality of ancient tribal/clan warfare leaves one in wondering how the author does it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Another excellent Bronze Age story in gripping series

The third in the series is my favourite so far, plenty of twists and turns and battles a-plenty. Meliora continues to dazzle as the main character, and the petty rivalries and disputes have modern-day resonance. Hugely enjoyable holiday reading set in a period of history I never expected to find so enthralling. (My only gripe once again is the proof reading. Send them to me, I'll do it for free!) Keep up the great story telling I'm off to start Book 4.

Following the magazine Historical time , these books were in the book sections, A series like no other, i have read all this series, from the beginning to the end, you want more, the conquest of the Bronze/iron age, life in that time, beliefs, medical ( which was interesting for me), a well written series for certain, the writer must have done multitude research and of course must have a great imagination, well done
