When Luke returns to India after seven years, the last thing he expects is to meet Taara again. Why can’t he resist temptation?

About the author

Almost as soon as Devika Fernando could write, she imagined stories and poems. After finishing her education in Germany and returning to her roots in Sri Lanka, she became a writer. Having lived in Germany and in Sri Lanka with her husband has made her experience the best (and the worst) of two totally different worlds – something that influences her writing.
Her trademark is writing deeply emotional, closed-door romances, often with international settings and/or multicultural couples. She draws inspiration from everyone and everything in life. Apart from her contemporary and paranormal romance novels, she has co-written a romantic suspense book series with Mike Wells.
What Devika loves most about being an author is creating new worlds and sending her protagonists on a journey with ups and downs that leaves them changed. When she’s not writing, she’s reading or thinking about writing, eating too much chocolate, taking nature photographs, and playing with her cat and dogs.

- Reviewed in the United States on August 28, 2020Yet another great multicultural novel by the author. I love the combination of HEA romance with detailed descriptions of the assorted places very much in the manner that Devika Fernando got us used to.

5.0 out of 5 stars Give this Second Chance Romance a Chance!
I had the pleasure of reading Luke and Taara’s story a few months ago as part of a romance anthology, and I absolutely adored it.
I love the way the author has created such a swoon worthy hero and such a strong, independent heroine, both with a softness and realness about them that makes them so relatable.
What I love most about Devika’s books are the creative and quirky settings she uses- like Taara’s delightful art and crafts shop. Twinkling fairy lights, colourful paper flowers and tinkling wind chimes... her vivid descriptions always make her books such a treat and you find yourself transported right into the story. I won’t give away anything about the story, except this- if you’re looking for a perfect, sweet, feel-good romance... you’ve found it!

5.0 out of 5 stars The Star of Mumbai
Taara (which means star) has carved her own life , trade and Life. She upset her parents because she did not accept to live her life in the expected and traditional way. But did she? Being almost afianced the man her parents chose?
Luke is the hotshot architect from Australia who is thankfully no stereotypical first world man. He studied in India for a year for instance. And India got under his skin and in his heart.
Can they find their way back to each other?

5.0 out of 5 stars A lovely second chance romance
From page one I was rooting for Luke, totally charming and loveable Aussie. Taara, the charming, creative Indian girl is the love of his love of his life but there seems to be an ocean of issues that keeps them apart.
Will they get a secondchance at love?
Read to find out.
