L. Ann started with the Baxters and followed that with multiple series and genres. While her books feature paranormal, FBI, ex-military and Badass Bikers, L. Ann is writing about the strong women that these men need in their life to help right the world’s wrongs and keep their small part of the world safe. The women are extraordinary, strong and determined to make a difference.

The men fight for right in every book. Yes, they kill people. Yes, the MC shoots at the bad guys’ feet to cause them pain. Yes, some throw tampons at each other regularly. That being said, they do these things while stopping human trafficking and experimentation, bringing their world into legitimate businesses, fighting gangs to keep drugs away from their towns and kids, keep women sheltered safely while trying to stop domestic abuse. These are men that don’t leave a pack, team member or Brother behind. They don’t treat women as possessions and they don’t cheat. Respect takes on an honorable meaning. Women and kids are cherished. Everyone is looked out for and everyone is equal.

L. Ann has made amazing worlds, tackled the taboo subjects and made it easy to imagine living in a world where your protection comes from the vampires, shifters, freaky kids, albinos and orientals, military turned FBI and some Badass Bikers.

With readers writing about rereading the series over and over, she feels like she’s told her characters’ stories in a way that would make them proud. Every book will make you laugh, every book will make you angry for the wrong that happens in the world. Every book will make you cry for the pain that a character feels.

Every book gives you hope that we may just get it right yet.

    Seren at 24, is a smart business women. Her Scandinavia heritage and beauty, has made her an outsider. Since the death of her father, she has her adoptive Uncle Rex and her two best friends, sisters, Freedom and Victory. A badass and a flower child. Then She meets Cort.
    Cort can't get the beautiful little blond with the strange blue eyes off his mind. Seren can't help but be pulled into the orbit the biker Norse God, who shares her love of inspirational quotes, has a sharp mind, is a protector of those in need. Seren takes to the biker world like she was born in it.
    Fast paced and steamy. Loved learning more of the southwestern diverse cultural heritage. Love this new series in the ever expanding MC/Baxter/Providence world. Great support characters, can't wait to read more stories from the Phoenix chapter.

    These characters won my heart with how dedicated, zany and responsible they all were to the club’s goals. Colt and Serena were perfect for each other. A MC Prez finally met his ONE. This was intriguing, lots of action, lots of love for their brothers, and the community. It was outstanding but there were times when I couldn’t tell who was saying what.     I am always worried when authors do a 2nd MC club the it is just going to be the same characters and stories but with different names.
    This is a completely different book. Thus author has definitely worked to come up with new characters for this world. The MC is a Badass link so they follow their belief and they work for good which I loved soni am glad to see continue.
    Cort grew up in the club as a club kid but things went wrong recently. After leaving his club he finds his brothers want him back and they need a new club and a new President.
    This book follows Cort setting up Phoenix Rising and finding his old lady Seren. Along the way the bikers start a womens movement and kick some ass. These guys are Badass to the core and had me laughing out loud too. I cant wait to see what they get up to next.

    Wow what can I say, I missed the Mc. Now we get a new Chapter to get to know and love. Cort Masters’ has it all to do, build from the ground up and right the wrongs done to his club! He’s just the man to do it too and he has the right Brothers alongside him. This was an amazing start to a new series. It has typical L Ann traits of badas# mixed in. You’ll recognise the honourable code they live by. When he meets Seren, Cort comes alive again, she gives him what he’s been missing. Uncovering secrets that have been hidden and righting the wrongs of the past, gives everyone the closure they need. As always there are some humorous moments and some very emotional ones too. Once I started this book I didn’t want to stop! I cannot wait for the next book now.
