L. Ann started with the Baxters and followed that with multiple series and genres. While her books feature paranormal, FBI, ex-military and Badass Bikers, L. Ann is writing about the strong women that these men need in their life to help right the world’s wrongs and keep their small part of the world safe. The women are extraordinary, strong and determined to make a difference.

The men fight for right in every book. Yes, they kill people. Yes, the MC shoots at the bad guys’ feet to cause them pain. Yes, some throw tampons at each other regularly. That being said, they do these things while stopping human trafficking and experimentation, bringing their world into legitimate businesses, fighting gangs to keep drugs away from their towns and kids, keep women sheltered safely while trying to stop domestic abuse. These are men that don’t leave a pack, team member or Brother behind. They don’t treat women as possessions and they don’t cheat. Respect takes on an honorable meaning. Women and kids are cherished. Everyone is looked out for and everyone is equal.

L. Ann has made amazing worlds, tackled the taboo subjects and made it easy to imagine living in a world where your protection comes from the vampires, shifters, freaky kids, albinos and orientals, military turned FBI and some Badass Bikers.

With readers writing about rereading the series over and over, she feels like she’s told her characters’ stories in a way that would make them proud. Every book will make you laugh, every book will make you angry for the wrong that happens in the world. Every book will make you cry for the pain that a character feels.

Every book gives you hope that we may just get it right yet.

    Love the cameo of Prince’s in here but this is Badass all the way!! I love how Raid knows his own heart and what he wants out of life. He just doesn’t know how to get it. He thinks he needs to take the long way but Cort is playing matchmaker and helps him along...I love it! Lorelai is great..once she gets her head out of her ass...and it just take a little tough love from her girls...I love the girls! Love Leo! Love the A’s and Web! There is so much in the book that is still laying the ground work of the new series...I absolutely loved it and love this author! She is one of my favorites! Highly recommend!

    It was nice to bring characters in from the MC book she started with was very interesting how the whole Laurel/ Lr/Daniel came in to the book really like RAID now I’m going to go back and read phoenix rising one and then re-read to so that I get a continuity in the whole story I feel like I missed something between the two but I can’t wait for the next one if you have an opportunity to read any of L and Marie’s box you should really start with the first one and just go from there because they’re all very enjoyable and give you a new outlook on all the way life should be thank you

    Raid falls for her and her son. He so needs love and a family even if he doesn't know he needs it. This book is one of hope and redemption and three people who desperately need a new beginning.
    Throw in the MC's Ops and hijinks and you have one heck of a good read. L. Ann Marie never disappoints. Another 5 star read!

    Reading is an escape from reality and I love L Ann Marie's reality. Who wouldn't want to live in a town/ city that has no gangs, drugs and violence against women and children is not allowed.

    I've had to re-read this book because I was so excited to see Prez ( Little Ben) , Ricky, Dakota , Jesse and Chance. I can see them hooking up on Ops in future books and I can't wait to see where BadAss takes us. The only thing that bums me out about it is that Chance is at least 20. How old are Pres , Knight Uncle Danny ??? I don't really want to know that answer. Let's stick with Princes and just hear about Mass MC
    The only down side of this book was the ending. Like all of her books, we get the HEA during the book. I love that part so that made the ending weird. First off , Pres ( Cort or Boss) gets shot. My Hade !!!!! Why would you have a Brother drunk and shooting at someone even with the laser !?!? That was more than irresponsible. It was foolish and possibly deadly. Why would you end the book there with Hade sleeping it off in holding and Raid just thinking he was being an add ?!?!
    Overall I really did love the book just dissatisfied with the e ding

    As a fan of this author I love to read everything she writes. This new Mc whet my appetite from the first page. Getting to know all these new guys in book one was exciting. Seeing them again in book two is even better. Raid has been a close friend to Cort the Pres as they both grew up together and we see them so closely entwined In this story. When Raid finds Lorelei and her son he falls in love with not only her but Leo/Daniel as well. What follows is a beautiful love story for all of them. This book has a lot of humour as well as intense moments. I’m loving the development of the storyline and cannot wait to see what come next. Seeing old friends and beloved characters from the Princes was the icing on the cake. Awesome book
