    Love at first sight romance

    I always love reading this author because I know I’m going to get a cute love story with just a touch of drama to keep things interesting but not too much angst.

    This book is a perfect example of that. Hudson and Greer have an almost instant chemistry, even though they try to fight it. Once they give in though their flame burns hot and so does their relationship. You could say they go zero to sixty pretty darn quickly.

    Their love story is a sweet one, and Hudson is willing to do anything to make Greer happy.

    I won’t give too much away, but if you are looking for a quick, cute read, this is a great book choice.

    Sounds like Bishop and Abby are up next! Can’t wait for their story.

    I’m so excited to dive into each of the books in this series. Kelly Elliott, you are so gifted in the way you create these characters and the place where they live!

    Greer is the owner of Turning Pages, a bookstore in the small town of Boggy Creek. She’s grown up there and helped out in the bookstore while she was growing up. During that time, she told the previous owner that if he ever retired, she would love to own it someday. Things get shaken up a bit when some suits arrive in this small town.

    Hudson Higgins is an author struggling to get his latest book finished on time. He’s arrived in Boggy Creek from New York City to see if he can get his mojo back. Of course, he makes a stop into the local bookstore and you will enjoy Hudson and Greer’s first meeting a lot. The chemistry between these two is unexpected, but the more time they spend together just sharing their love of things about and around Boggy Creek they find they have a lot in common.

    I had the best time reading this book. The town, the scenery, and the characters I could picture in my mind as I turned every page. Pure enjoyment! I highly recommend reading this series!!

    I beta/sensitivity read this gem for Kelly, and I have to say, doing this made me fall in love with Kelly’s words! I loved this so much that I had to go back and read book one just to get the full experience. I sensitivity read for a character named Candace who is essentially…me. She is hilarious, beautiful, super smart, and is Greer’s bff! I mean, hello!! I love that I could see myself in this cozy small town that gave me all the Autumn feels of hot cocoa wrapped in a warm blanket. I love that this story surrounds a cool book store named Turning Pages, and it’s where all these amazing women who just happen to be the best of friends work together running this amazing place.

    Oh, and did I mention that this is a love story? Lol. That’s the wonderful thing about this series, you are just as invested in the female friendships as well as the actual love story!!

    “What do you do when a drop-dead gorgeous man walks into your bookstore and asks if you have a quiet corner for him to work in?” Greer was thrown off her rocker by the handsome author, Hudson..along with the rest of us.

    This book made me laugh out loud, swoon, and Fangirl over the mention of Kerrigan Bryne, and her books—The Highway Man, and The Hunter!! These are the coolest women, and I just want to live here forever!!

    This was a cute and sexy story about two people that have a lot in common. An author and a bookstore owner is a match made in heaven.  Greer is adorable when she meets Hudson and she stumbles and get tongue tied. Hudson is extremely sexy and romantic.  They meet at the bookstore and start spending time together.  Everything happens so naturally with them. This was such a good small town romance and a super easy read. The cute parts made me smile and the sexy parts made me blush. Hudson could sure get down!!! Greer was refreshing and mature.

I love sneaking into the other books in the series, and I just found a contradiction between two small dialogues in this book and in the sixth book.     I loved this book and I especially loved Hudson! I had a tiny bit of a hard time getting into at first but it didn't take too long before I was hooked. I loved that it was about an author and an owner of a bookstore falling in love. I really wished it had an epilogue though because I wasn't done with it. I wanted more of Greer and especially Hudson! Sigh...I loved Hudson ❤️.

    Dual povs and an HEA. Can't wait to keep reading the series.

Greer book shop workaholic is immediately attracted to this handsome stranger on first encounter. The story unfolds, with previous and new characters. The descriptions of emotions, places and senses, fill the readers mind that you journey through the book with them. A smile on your face, a glow in your heart, and the need to turn the next page. A very well written story, and a compelling read, leading into the next episode of this interesting story.
