About the author

Briar Prescott is a work in progress. She swears too much, doesn’t eat enough leafy greens and binge watches too much television. It’s okay, though. One of these days she'll get a hang of that adulting thing.
Probably.
Maybe.
She hopes.

- Reviewed in the United States on February 4, 2025Format: KindleVerified PurchaseThis may by favorite of Briar Prescott’s books yet! Terrific characters who develop in interesting ways over the course of the story. A polyamorous relationship that has a challenge different from the usual, “how can we all 3 be in a relationship”. Lots of pining but very little angst. Loved it!
- Reviewed in the United States on April 13, 2021Format: KindleVerified PurchaseI don’t usually like MMM because most authors focus on the naughty bits and I can never understand why I’m supposed to feel that specific poly relationship should work. The character development rarely works for me.
Here the author genuinely tries to show why these characters are better together as a whole, there’s little focus on what happens in the bedroom (I mean the play by play, there actually is a lot of angst re how it would work with one of them).
I read this because I loved BP’s other novels and wasn’t disappointed. I would have prefeerred even more in depth scenes of how Ezra fits in with Bas and Drew and is liked to have a better insight in his character development. He goes from tense, distrustful and very unhappy to the sort of axis of the relationship. He’s described as calm and centered and unshakeable and I would’ve just liked to have seen more of that transition. Otherwise well done
- Reviewed in the United States on April 27, 2021Format: KindleVerified PurchaseI highly recommend this book! The emotions, love and support of the characters is something I am sure we would all love to have. Different men, different backgrounds, but so perfect in a three way relationship. Sex scenes were minimal in this book; however, the ones that were there were fabulous and filled with not only heat but so intimately personal. They were true love scenes and not just sex scenes. From the first page you were all in with this story. Looking forward to many more books by this author.
- Reviewed in the United States on April 16, 2021Format: KindleVerified PurchaseI really wanted to love this book. I love MMM+, and I love Briar’s books. But something about this book didn’t sit well with me. In the beginning, I loved where things were going. It was obvious that Ezra was going to be the missing piece. But the second half of the book threw in some intense doubt and conflict that made it hard to connect with the initial setup of their story. I felt like the first half is set up in one way, then the second half goes off in a completely different track and it felt a bit incongruous as a whole. We have three men with three different backgrounds and stories, and I felt like the focus on Drew’s crummy family took away from their bond. And not in a way that works with the plot. It just felt like conflict for conflict’s sake. I just got tired of Bas and Drew fighting by the end. Their HEA was sweet, but the journey to get there just didn’t connect with me.
- Reviewed in the United States on February 5, 2022Format: KindleVerified PurchaseIt was Inevitable that this book turned out to be so amazing! Drew, Bas and Ezra are just wonderful. Watching Ezra grow from veritable street rat to be the calm voice of reason was very satisfying. Seeing Bas become less of a genius hermit was really gratifying. And seeing Drew become less lawyer-like and more concentrated on home and his boyfriends was delightful. All in all, a wonderful book. I’m really glad I gave the book a chance. You will be too!
- Reviewed in the United States on April 13, 2021Format: KindleVerified PurchaseI realized that I hadn't read an MMM in a while and this is just what I needed, with some friends-to-lovers thrown in to hit my catnip. One of the reasons I enjoy MMM is seeing how the three MCs connect together - in this case, Ezra is able to get Drew and Bas to admit their love as well as fill what Bas perceives as need he can't fill for Drew.
I appreciated the ace representation as well as the author showing the positive role that community colleges can play for first-generation students.
- Reviewed in the United States on June 19, 2021Format: KindleVerified PurchaseThis was one of the best books I’ve read so far this year. Actually, Briar Prescott has written quite a few wonderful stories lately and I’m happy to say that all were given 5 ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ stars. Inevitable was an emotional read with some internal & external angst, but a lot of laughs too. Definitely a feel-good-can’t-wait-to-see-what-happens kind of MMM love story. I believe this is the first story I’ve read with an asexual character and it was very enlightening. HEA ending. Highly recommended. Enjoy!
- Reviewed in the United States on February 12, 2022Format: KindleVerified PurchaseMMM can be either disappointing or really good and this was good. Very moderate steam suited a slow burn relationship that includes someone ace. I wasn’t sure it would work with two of the characters as lifelong friends but it did.

5.0 out of 5 stars I loved everything about this story.
Format: KindleVerified PurchaseBriar Prescott has this amazing ability to write such tender, gentle and loving stories and to handle difficult situations the characters go through in a really sensitive way.
As someone on an ace spectrum, I have so much appreciation for Bas. The way he communicates about his needs, while at the same time feeling "not normal" and like he doesn't have enough to give was a really relatable and painful struggle.
These three came together in a way that made the relationship feel really real and lovely. They all struggled to feel like their presence mattered. But they're all important parts of the equation and necessary for one another.
I really loved the tactile nature of them all, and how intimate they were close, how close they got. How sex wasn't the core of their intimacy, but it was so much more.
This was just such a lovely read. Ezra, Drew and Bas found their peace and love within each other and it was amazing to go through it with them.

5.0 out of 5 stars Touching
Format: KindleVerified PurchaseThe history is so beautiful, it talks about unconditional love, acceptance and the hardships of not being “normal”.
It opened my mind to new viewpoints and how awesome can be when you find support in strangers.
