Primal Paradox (Men of the Pack Book 3) Kindle Edition

4.5 4.5 out of 5 stars 81 ratings

Logan is a jerk and proud of it.

He's the perfect werewolf alpha in the making -- loyal to his pack yet confidently arrogant.

That is...until he makes a truly stupid deal with a shady warlock named Kai.

As any respectable alpha would, Logan puts his pack’s needs first, risking his future happiness to save one of his own. While the warlock’s help is invaluable to the pack’s cause, the deal Logan makes is too nebulous to suspect how much it's going to screw with his life in the future.

When Kai shows up again, ready to claim his end of their bargain, it’s more than Logan's willing to give. Logan bristles at being backed into a corner and his normally abrasive nature only goes further into overdrive. Finally, Logan is forced to decide whose happiness he can live with the most – his family’s, his own, or his soulmate’s. Logan’s certain someone is going to get shafted no matter what decision he makes.

Primal Paradox is an MM paranormal romance and the third in the Men of the Pack series. Each book in the series can be read as a standalone, even though they are best enjoyed in order. Due to the explicit nature of some scenes, this book is not intended for readers under 18.

Parker lives in the (sometimes) great state of Texas with her husband and four children, one of them suspiciously furry and four-legged. Her first MM paranormal romance novel, Mission Primal, debuted in April 2017. Since then she has published three additional novels in the Men of the Pack series -- Primal Wish, Primal Paradox, and Primal Balance. When she isn’t writing or being Mom, Parker can be found masquerading as a mild-mannered healthcare professional.

What a wonderful end to a great series. I felt that the third book live Jude and Logan in a made relationship but something was missing. This book brought it all together. As the title suggested Tristian brought balance to this relationship. All four books in the series were fantastic. I can’t wait for the next series by this author.

I can't think of anything hotter than two powerful straight alpha shifters that are fated mates. As Jude and Logan navigate what they mean to each to each other and battling for dominance in a loving way, they discover love regardless of their straight orientation. The reason I didn't give this book 5 stars is that they just seemed to find each other and the book was over. There is so much more to Logan and Jude's story. I hope Parker continues with Jude and Logan and the rest of the pack, I am definitely craving more.

I liked this last book of the series a lot. The last chapter alone was more than worth it. I'm so glad they all got their happy ending - especially Jude, he was my favorite! Highly recommend!

Logan's refusal to accept reality despite it being patently obvious to everyone else definitely got a bit old, but I found that I liked both Logan and Jude the best of all of the mates so far in this series.

This is the third book in The Men of the Pack Series. A spellbinding book the writing was good. The plot was entertaining and it was steady throughout the book. I found the story and characters likeable. The characters were well developed and thought out. Logan a Wolf Shifter and Jude a Tiger Shifter are the MC’s of this book and mates. There was humor, wolf pack, shifters, school, mates, loss, traveling, surprises, a warlock and so much more in this book.

Here is a quote from the book, “Logan had gotten almost too good of a look at the cat while it was splayed out on his bed, performing the basest of personal hygiene. The cat was easily the ugliest feline Logan had ever seen. Judas’ mottled grey and brown fur was short, except around his face where it stuck out in off patches like some version of a feline mad scientist. His mismatched blue and green eyes should have been intriguing, but the hateful way the cat glared just emphasized his ugliness, both inside and out.”. There is more but you will need to read the book which I can recommend. I voluntarily read an advance copy of this book for an honest review.
