Full content visible, double tap to read brief content.

L. Ann started with the Baxters and followed that with multiple series and genres. While her books feature paranormal, FBI, ex-military and Badass Bikers, L. Ann is writing about the strong women that these men need in their life to help right the world’s wrongs and keep their small part of the world safe. The women are extraordinary, strong and determined to make a difference.

The men fight for right in every book. Yes, they kill people. Yes, the MC shoots at the bad guys’ feet to cause them pain. Yes, some throw tampons at each other regularly. That being said, they do these things while stopping human trafficking and experimentation, bringing their world into legitimate businesses, fighting gangs to keep drugs away from their towns and kids, keep women sheltered safely while trying to stop domestic abuse. These are men that don’t leave a pack, team member or Brother behind. They don’t treat women as possessions and they don’t cheat. Respect takes on an honorable meaning. Women and kids are cherished. Everyone is looked out for and everyone is equal.

L. Ann has made amazing worlds, tackled the taboo subjects and made it easy to imagine living in a world where your protection comes from the vampires, shifters, freaky kids, albinos and orientals, military turned FBI and some Badass Bikers.

With readers writing about rereading the series over and over, she feels like she’s told her characters’ stories in a way that would make them proud. Every book will make you laugh, every book will make you angry for the wrong that happens in the world. Every book will make you cry for the pain that a character feels.

Every book gives you hope that we may just get it right yet.

I loved this book so much! The more we get to see what the club can accomplish the more I wish it was a real club. The good that is promoted in the book is awesome. Social issues that need addressing get it in the story in a way that makes you want to honour and implement the solutions in your community. Of course the love story of LB and Lily keeps you wanting more too. The supporting cast also has a great story to tell and makes you want more. I didn't want the story to end and am looking forward to Enforcer!

I am super happy that Prez finally starts his story with Lilly! Their story was not all sunshine and roses but full of love!! I love how the books still are interwoven and they helping those in surrounding towns. What a brilliant program for sheltering the vets. Wish we had something in place for them now, we do not do enough for those that have fought for our freedom and come home homeless. Great book and great sharing of awareness! Glad there is another to read!! Can't wait!

I’ve looked forward to Little Ben’s story since The Princes got their own series. Granted, I’ve been getting a bit annoyed with him and some of his “activities” while waiting for Lily, but he quickly earned my forgiveness and then some.

Little Ben has always known Lily was his, but her father’s death and the ugly secrets that came out led to her mother taking her away from the only family she’d ever known. When Lily and her sister finally make their way back, he learns the hard way that just because you know someone is yours doesn’t mean it’s okay to treat them like a possession. Reading through this I felt like a little communication on both of their parts could have gone a long way and saved them years worth of misunderstandings.

Lily’s life went from having a loving family to imploding in the blink of an eye. Both parents showed they had dark sides which was extremely confusing to a young girl, and as the secrets just kept unraveling, she doubted everything she knew. Finding her way back was hard especially with Ben making things worse even though that’s the last thing he wanted to do. I applauded Lily in her need to make him show that she wasn’t just his but that he belonged to her too. Lily’s heart won me over, but when she showed her backbone was when my respect and admiration for this young woman reached a new high.

As things progressed and Ben showed Lily the true meaning of being his Old Lady, he became my favorite hero of all L Anne Marie’s books. He showed Lily and everyone else what the true meaning of “all in” really is. His actions when things fell apart had me tearing up, and smiling at the same time. His steadfast loyalty and love not only for his wife but also towards his people even when his world had fallen apart embodied the qualities of a true leader.

The freaky abilities of the members of the Princes of Prophecy MC are getting freakier and people take notice. More towns clamor to become part of the Prince Properties covered areas, but it seemed each town takeover had the exact same issues come up, which was eye roll inducing. I think one town per book with some originality in the problems would have been a better way to go.

There were still some serious editing issues and once again I found myself having to backtrack to see who was talking to who, which drives me freaking crazy. Still, I thoroughly enjoyed Leader and look forward to the next adventure of this crazy group.

Little Ben and Lily are finally together. Even Little Ben needs Patches list to be sure he is making Lily happy.
The Princes and MC Baxter's finally track down and eliminate the big threat to them, but not without tragic consequence. Smaller threats are still an issue. Little Ben shines as a leader through it all. His officers know their jobs. His extended family give unwavering support.
They are able to expanded to other towns many who embrace the brand of safety that the Prince's offer. Lily with the help of Uncle Danny and Dakota, put together a nonprofit to help the homeless and Vets in need.
Alex has grown into a great brother. Helping Little Ben with the babies when Lily wasn't able. Working as an assistant to Jared Baxter at the lab. Even coming up with a program that helps both Vets and pound dogs. Alex shows what it means to be a good brother in everything he does.
Steve Knight, still my favorite. His duct tape solutions and dog training made me smile.
Loved Lily and Little Ben's story. The Princes and MC Baxter's are making the world a better place and are still badasses.

Ben Knight son of MC VP Steve Knight is the President of the Princes of Prophecy. He has been a leader since he was a kid. He has special abilities in addition to his leadership skills. He has always known that he was destined to be with Casper's daughter Lily. Their path may be destined but it is not without pain. But when Little Ben says he is all in he means it. I enjoyed the story, the sex was intense and the battles.

The predestined love of LB & Lilly was not a disappointment. Even though you knew they were going to get together their was enough back story and secondary characters interacting to keep it interesting. As usual the "rents" supply a family reunion vibe, the skirmishes continue and we find out who the backer is.
We see LB continue to grow as the leader he is meant to be and some intriguing questions about Danny are brought up.
    Al in all another winner.

Great book. Love the story, Little Ben is the President of The Princes and fought hard to have Lilly, the woman he knew all his life was meant for him. I admired his perseverance, his attitude and his passion to keep his MC and his woman safe. To never give up and nothing is written is the theme of this book. If you're looking for badass at its max this is the book for you. Fantastic read and highly recommended!

This is little Ben and Lily’s story! Lily’s dad Casper was the PD chief for the MC but was killed on duty. There were lies her mother told about her dad and caused some issues for her. She wants Ben Knight but isn’t sure he is hers even though he says she is his. Getting together proves to be challenging with the nature of their lives. There is danger and threats at every turn, but this strong couple will make it. Leader is a touching story of what all in really means. Leader is an action-packed book with a healthy side of romance earns 5 stars!

I have loved Little Ben since he was a baby and this book shows what a great leader he has become. The story is fast and exciting and laugh out loud at the crazy MC and Princes family.
You need to read the previous books to really get what is going on, they are all great so you won't regret it.

5.0 out of 5 stars make sure you read them all
Reviewed in Australia on February 3, 2017
I first started by reading MC: Knight and then realised that I wanted the whole story and that started with the Baxter's .. although the first books didn't have a lot of crossovers they did set the scene for what is to come in the other books as the stories move along so their importance to the series' as a whole cannot be overstated

I have just read the 22 books to date back to back in the order published on the author's website and decided to review them as a whole. I really don't think they stand well as stand alones as there are too many common threads, too much history and too much character crossover for that so it really is one (very) long story over a very long period of time with each series concentrating on a particular character group but including all of the others (except for the initial Baxter books which didn't have a lot of MC action but did set the scene for a lot of what is to come).

I loved every book although of course some more than others but i am giving an overall five star rating. My biggest issue was that sometimes (often) i found it difficult to be sure exactly who was talking and had to reread sections to try to work it out. I think that perhaps what the author is seeing in her head moves a bit too fast to translate well to the written word for some of us (something like the thoughts of some of her characters - you need to read the stories to understand my thought process here!!)

My other issue was keeping my head straight with the cast of thousands (and this is not an exaggeration) ... with each story building on to what has come before and what will come to be and with most characters continuing to play a place in each consecutive story I found myself constantly stopping to think - now who was that, whose child is that, whose partner is that???? but even amongst that confusion I loved the relationships and the strengths they provided.

The author has an amazing imagination and has brought to the table a fantastic story that i will continue to read and at some point will def read again. I have always loved and had an interest in native american philosophy and also in paranormal and psychic connections and love the way these are ingrained into the books as the stories unfold.

Although there were some things that caused me slight annoyances I cannot deny that as a whole this fits as one of the best series i have enjoyed. my thanks to the author for providing such a thoroughly engaging tale
