    In the final chapter of the prison days series Simon describes what takes place throughout the month of May. May is a fairly calm month with some action and changes. While this is the final chapter in the prison days series Simon also discusses some of his additional books that he has written both fiction and nonfiction. In this final chapter of the prison days series Simon opens up about some of his personal life struggles and how he has worked to overcome them and how his life working in the prison has affected him.

    These 12 books provide a very realistic view of what life is like as a corrections officer in a maximum-security prison. The author pretty much outlines what he does almost every day he works in the prison. I finished reading this entire series (all 12 books) within the course of a week and I’m going to be reading the prison days screwed up book next. I love these books and I hope that there will one day be more of them.

    Sensational series of books, it really does take a special kind of person to do this job. Simon is one of those, seems to me he was amazing at his job but not only that he is one hell of a writer. His books tell it now it is, and boy oh boy is it scary! Lovers of true crime must read these books, they give an insight into what happens when the court cases are over, and sometimes it's not easy to read. But I thoroughly enjoyed all 12, looking forward to the follow up!!
