    I've read all 7, so far. These books are more like a diary of what a prison officers shifts are. There's not any opinions, nobody telling you what's right, or wrong, with our justice system. Simon leaves that for you to decide on your own, he just reports events as they happened. A really interesting series for those of us who have never seen inside of a jail, much less a prison. Very informative and interesting. I certainly have much more respect for jailers now. Thank you Simon, for sharing your interactions with us, and for the job that you, and your brothers and sisters, do!!!

    I liked the way this author speaks to the reader. Easy to read and if want a short or fast read this is for you. But only if you can handle the subject matter. Nobody else in my family or reading group would read this book. I’ve read them all and have to say it opens your eyes to something we don’t usually hear about.

    I have read all 7 books thru kindle unlimited. I had to also purchase them to reread at a future date. I enjoyed the books that much! Simon really made me feel that I was there and knew some of these people. I have always had a fascination with prisons, not that I want to be an inmate. Through Simons writing I understand more of the daily living and hell the guards and inmates go through. Thank you Simon for bringing this to life. Can't wait for the next books, upset they end at 10!

    I absolutely love all the prison days books, I've read all seven books and was so excited to read the latest installment Simon wrote. The way he writes is so descriptive I feel like I'm right there along side him (minus the pepper spray in eyes) I'd recommend reading all the prison days books including inmates stories.

    I have enjoyed the Prison days books immensely, but I am sorry to say I have to drop a star on the book, as I felt it lacked some of the intensity of previous books, however it was still a page turner, just would of liked more bizarre stories from the characters he encounters in his work, as it is to most people , like hearing about a different planet, this read a wee bit more like a log book, so for that reason sadly I am afraid I will have to remove a star, as it doesn't quite live up to it's predecessors. However I will still look forward to the next instalment. Didn't think it mattered one jot which country in was set in, had worked out that it was Australia from the river names, the different sections of the Prison was called, as I said it is far removed from what most people experience that it could of been anyway. Despite my removal of one star, I will still look forward to hearing more from Simon
