I have no doubt that this deserves more than 5 stars. Cassandra has definitely done it again, kept me captivated and glued to this book! I could not put it down and I stayed up late until I finished it! Caitlin has every right to want the old Justin back not the new Justin who is always apologizing for putting her in dangers way. While he is right he would not have put her in danger had he not pursued her he loves her.... and Caitlin loves Justin she just wants the old Justin back. So she took matters into her own hands and left. When he does find her .... he tries to persuade her to come home... while she pushes him away. Everyone around her though sees that she really does love him and wants to be with him. She takes matter into her own hands and gets the aid of a few of his cousins to help kidnap him. Although her plan does get slightly interrupted it does make her change her plans slightly but in her favor. Where does this leave Caitlin and Justin? All I will say is yummy yum yum can I have Justin in my bed? Can I please be Caitlin? I promise you won't want to put this book down! Thanks Cassandra!!! I hope there is more to come in this series!! I love them all!!

Why did I want to read this book?

I was intrigued to find out the back story of Justin and Caitlin. Plus, I always love heroes who have been in love with the heroine for a long time already. It’s always interesting to see the dynamics between the characters in that kind of set-up.

    What worked for me?

The thing that I loved most about Justin and Caitlin and their story was the obvious fact that they do complement each other very well. Justin seems like the quiet and steady guy but with a wild streak as well and Caitlin is no pushover but she has a good head on her shoulders and obviously a kind heart as well. They’ve been in a relationship-esque status quo, being together without officially being together, if that makes any sense. They haven’t really defined what they are together but they are in each other lives. And while it was a little heartbreaking that Caitlin’s abduction had been the catalyst, I was glad to see them move forward to the next steps of their relationship.

I love the chemistry between these two. They have that passive-aggressive thing going on, especially in the beginning, but it’s more of their form of foreplay than anything else more serious. It’s always entertaining watching them bicker but at the same time, you feel incredibly certain that nothing will ever come between them nor will they ever allow anything to anyway.

I also love the emotional bits that we get from this book. I mentioned earlier how strong the chemistry was between these two so you don’t have anything to worry about with the sexy times in this book. But I’m also glad that there were heart-tugging scenes that made me feel closer to both Justin and Caitlin and made me root even more for their HEA.

What did not work for me?

I thought there would be more of that struggle between the two with how they’re dealing with the aftermath of Caitlin’s abduction, Justin with his guilt and Caitlin with this anger at Justin for continuing to treat her as breakable, and of course more of Caitlin’s seduction of Justin. So I was basically been left wanting more on that front. But it didn’t take away from my enjoyment of the rest of their story.

As for the writing, I wanted it to be a little tighter. There were parts when I felt the conversations were a little contrived and some transitions between scenes felt a little ragged. I appreciated her writing more in her Moon Virus series.

    My over-all take on it?

For those who have been waiting for Justin’s and Caitlin’s story, this book will definitely be a treat for you guys. For newcomers to the series like me (who have read this book as well as Book 3), it was a good journey getting to know these two characters as well as the others in this world that Cassandra Lawson created. This one was a quick and sexy read.

This one was great, I hope she continues the series. It was a good conclusion to the current story arc. The women are strong or a working towards becoming stronger.

The Vampire Will See You Now is the fourth book in the Psy-Vamps series by Cassandra Lawson. I didn’t read the books before this, but there is enough information given so you wouldn’t be lost if you started with this book. I would highly recommend reading the books prior to this just so you don’t ruin the endings of the previous books. If you read The Vampire Will See You Now first, you will pretty much know how the other books end. While I was not lost, it would have been nice to have more background on these characters going into it, but this does not affect my star rating because the author has no control over in which order I read her books

This isn’t the first book by this author that I have read. I really enjoyed her book Raven’s Blood, which is the first book in her Moon Virus Series. That having been said, my expectations for this book were somewhat high I suppose. There was very little action in this book. It seemed to be about Caitlyn and Justin’s feelings and trying to get their relationship back on track more than anything else. I expected some excitement at some point. The only real excitement came at around 91% completion and was only 2 or 3 pages long. It was resolved extremely quickly. This may not have been the best book to start reading the series. I was a bit disappointed by this.

Again, I do recommend reading the first few books in the series because from what I read in this book, there is way more action and excitement in the first 3 books. Cassandra Lawson is a very talented writer, so please don’t get the impression that the book is badly written, because that isn’t the case at all. It is written well, and has enjoyable characters, but it was just a little bit boring for me. I can absolutely see other people loving this book because of its characters and the way everything is tied together.

I would recommend this book to anyone who likes Paranormal Romance and Vampires. Don’t take this 3 Fang rating as a negative thing. This is just my opinion, and in my opinion, this wasn’t Cassandra Lawson’s best book. It was nice and very emotional, it just didn’t make me want to run to the bookstore and tell everyone I know to read it. I like more action in my books apparently. For me 3 Fangs means I liked the book enough to not avoid reading it to the end, and I will recommend it to anyone I know that I think will specifically enjoy it.

I do plan to read the other books in the series as soon as I am able. I am sure I will enjoy those a bit more. I will also continue to read this author’s books. Even though I didn’t love The Vampire Will See You Now, I will still read the fifth book in the series, if I am given the opportunity.
I received a review copy of this book in exchange for my honest opinion. This in no way affected my thoughts or opinion of the book.

I enjoyed the first few books, because there was a lot of adventure and action, but this book didn’t have that much it seemed to be more on the sex side and less on the action which is what I enjoyed better in the first book. I just don’t like it dominating the entire story but an even mix would have been a lot more preferable.

It's time for Justin and Caitlin's story which I've been looking forward to.

Caitlin has been subjected to some pretty harsh times and is struggling to get back to her normal sassy self. What she doesn't need is for Justin, who is grappling with his own guilt over what has happened to her, to continue to treat her so gently. She wants her old Justin back and she's determined to get him.

There is plenty of hotness in this story plus lots of humour. Justin and Cait are great characters and I enjoyed getting to know them more. There's also plenty of good supporting characters as well, some already known and some new as well. The plot was good and the story flowed along nicely.

This is a super addition to a great series and I would definitely recommend it.

5 stars from me. Calling All Bookaholics :)

4.0 out of 5 stars Caitlin and vampire Justin finally sort everything out and get together

Vampire and doctor Justin had pursued (or stalked) Caitlin for 3 years now as he knows she that she one woman that is right for him. His resolve was sorely tested when a member of his own family almost completely destroyed her. So now he decides that she would be better off without him and as he would do anything for the woman he loves, now is the time to suck it up and leave her alone to enjoy her life. For Caitlin, having survived the most traumatic experience of her life which had unlocked her abilities and given the memories that she suspected she couldn't live with, a powerful empath has taught her how to control her abilities which have made her realise that she is far stronger than she could possibly imagine. The only fly in the ointment is that the man that she loves has decided she is better off without him, but as she is full of sass there is no way she is going to let anyone control her life like that. So he decides to do whatever it takes to prove to Justin just how very wrong he is.

Finally, we get to have a conclusion to the Caitlin and Justin story that gives them the kind of ending that they richly deserved. Caitlin was into full-on assertive and sassy woman mode who was determined to get what she wanted in life - how could anyone (especially Justin) deny her when she was like that? I did feel that they could have delved into the emotional side of things a bit more but I was thrilled with the way the story ended. Contains sexual and bondage content.
