Effrosyni Moschoudi was born and raised in Athens, Greece. As a child, she loved to sit alone in her garden scribbling rhymes about flowers, butterflies and ants. Today, she writes books for the romantic at heart. She lives in a quaint seaside town near Athens with a British husband, two naughty cats, and a staggering amount of books and DVDs. Her little town is heavenly enough, yet her mind forever drifts to her beloved island of Corfu.

The Ebb, her new adult romance that was inspired from her summers in Corfu in the 1980s, is an ABNA Q-Finalist. Her debut novel, The Necklace of Goddess Athena, won a silver medal in the 2017 book awards of Readers' Favorite. Her ghost romance novella, The Boy on the Bridge, was a Top 10 winner in the “50 Best Indie Books” awards of Readfree.ly in 2021.

Effrosyni’s books are sweet romances (low heat and no sex scenes). Running Haunted, My Corfu Love Story, and The Necklace of Goddess Athena are clean & wholesome. All the books are Amazon bestsellers, having hit #1 several times, and are available in kindle and paperback format.

What others say about Effrosyni's books:

"I was glued to the pages by the author’s vivid descriptions and her beautiful, almost poetic way of writing." ~Angel Sefer, author of The Greek Isles series

"Moschoudi's writing is impressive; sweet and delicate yet powerful, like a punch rolled up in silk." ~Nicholas Rossis, author of The Pearseus sci-fi series

Lizzie has lived since she was a child with the guilt of leaving her brother behind in a cave with a witch. She's come back 20 years later to bring him back home as she was promised but there are some strings attached. Since this all happens in some small Greek villages you'd expect that someone might believe her now, and she does get some unexpected help. By the end of the book you're cheering her and Tom on to beat the witch at her own game, but then comes the twist, and it fits into that world very cleverly. More of a romance than I was looking for, but I ended up enjoying the story immensely all the same.

The Raven Witch of Corfu: A Greek fantasy romance with a witch set in Corfu Greece by Effrosyni Moschoudi

Lizzie goes to Corfu twenty years after a witch has kidnapped her twin Brother. Once there, she finds her Brother but he is not the same. Determined to free her brother from the Witches grasp, she does what is expected of her (by the Witch). Danger abounds, magic is all around, and love is in the air. With new found friends, and love Lizzie may be able to do what she hopes.

A fantastic magical story, moves at a fast pace with a great plot. Likable characters, a page turning delight. Magic, love, danger, every emotion pour off the pages of this great read. I highly recommend The Raven Witch of Corfu to all.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Very Good Read

I needed a Greek 'fix', saw this boxed set on offer and thought I'd give it a try. I am so glad I did!! It is so well written and the characters come to life on the page - I found myself getting very caught up in their lives, getting angry for them, feeling happy when things were going right, even shedding a tear. I really couldn't put this down, it really is a page turner, as for the ending ..... no spoilers but I really didn't expect that!! I've never been to Corfu so can't comment on how true to the area the books were however having been to Greece many times the 'Greekness' was spot on. For me this set had everything I like in a lighter read - humour, history, romance (but not too much) supernatural, a good plot - perfect and I really recommend it. I will definitely be looking at more of this authors books.

Such a lovely boxed set , almost felt the warm sun and smelled the wild herbs and flowers of Corfu. Beautifully crafted, and a very satisfying ending (which I didn't want to come!).

4.0 out of 5 stars All 4 make one good book
Reviewed in the United Kingdom on May 17, 2019
I enjoy Effrosyni Moschoudi's novels - a lot of Greece, some fantasy enchantment and usually a love story intertwined, but I am glad I waited until all 4 were available together as the individual 95-page books do need to be read as one story. Effrosyni knows Corfu well and paints an enchanting picture of Messonghi and nearby villages now and 20 years ago when Lizzie first visited as a child with her twin brother and he was abducted by a witch! Recommended.
