Recall Zero (An Agent Zero Spy Thriller—Book #6) Kindle Edition

4.6 out of 5 stars 956 ratings

“You will not sleep until you are finished with AGENT ZERO. A superb job creating a set of characters who are fully developed and very much enjoyable. The description of the action scenes transport us into a reality that is almost like sitting in a movie theater with surround sound and 3D (it would make an incredible Hollywood movie). I can hardly wait for the sequel.”
--Roberto Mattos, Books and Movie Reviews

In RECALL ZERO (Book #6), the President’s translator is the only one privy to a secret conversation that can change the world. She is targeted for assassination and hunted down, and Agent Zero, called back into the line of duty, may just be the only one who can save her.

Agent Zero, trying to get his life back in order and to win back the trust of his girls, vows not to return to service. But when he is needed to save the life of this defenseless translator, he can’t say no. Yet the translator, he realizes, is as intriguing as the secrets she keeps, and Zero, on the run with her, just might be falling for her.

What secret is she keeping? Why are the most powerful organizations in the world trying to kill her for it? And will Zero be able to save her in time?

RECALL ZERO (Book #6) is an un-putdownable espionage thriller that will keep you turning pages late into the night.

In some ways a predictable story of Zero. And, some twists that are a good read. Always some fun stuff!!!

I'm really enjoying the Agent Zero series. Action galore plus the personal touch, especially for such a "tough guy". But Mr. Mars seems to be getting sloppy with both grammar and details. Examples: "... birth control regiment ..." should be "regimen".
And in many of this series he refers to the safety selector on a Glock pistol ... there isn't one. The only safety on a Glock is on the trigger. Let's see; who is most likely to read these books?? Oh yeah; men! (I realize that lots of ladies read them too, but I'm guessing it's more men). And who owns the most pistols in the US?? Oh yeah; men again. So an easy-to-research detail like this shouldn't be overlooked.
And references to the "tiny cabin" and "tiny galley" in a Gulfstream. Gulfstreams have some of the LARGEST cabins and galleys. Again, this is easy to research.
But again, I'll keep reading the series! Can't stop!

As Recall Zero opens, an interpreter, Karina Pavlo is being used as a Russian -English interpreter during a top-secret meeting between the U.S. President (Samuel Harris) and the President of Russia (Aleksandr Kozlovsky.). What she hears puts her life in danger. She is the only other person who knows the entire story and what is at stake. She calls her sister in the FIS for help in getting out of the country safely.

Meanwhile, Reid Lawson is no longer officially Agent Zero and he is trying to put his life back together. After he told his daughters the truth behind the death of their mother, they want nothing to do with him. He and Maria Johansson (who is now the Deputy Director of Special Activities ) is with Reid trying to get him back together with his daughters.

Then Reid gets a call from Karina's sister who begs him to help get her out of the country with a secret recording of the meeting. Even though it puts his life in upheaval, he must help Karina escape. What follows is an explosive and suspenseful story of two fighting for survival against overpowering odds. This book is unputdownable and will satisfy readers of the Agent Zero series. Book number seven is coming out around Christmas. I know what I want for Christmas! Thank you Mr. Mars for a great adventure. I can't wait for Assassin Zero!

Just finished this book over the weekend (still binge reading) as the series has me hooked.
I thought I loved the Luke Stone series but this one is really awesome.

Agent Zero still on a mission to save "the world" torn between this and staying with his family so really needs him.
The relationship he now has with his daughter, Maya, is a great story and it is great he no longer needs to lie to her on what he is doing or has done.

If you have not read this series - what are you waiting for ??

I did receive an email from the author for a free copy of this book but since I had not read Books 1 - 5 I left it in my email inbox. While going through my emails I came across it and then bought Books 1 -5 and got completely hooked. I actually bought this book because I wanted to support this author.

The plot is about a translator who knows what the two world powers in a secret meeting discussed. The translator must be killed and as you can image Agent Zero to the rescue. Story is a bit of a stretch but keeps your interest. More character development is found in this book and this will please readers. Can’t wait for the next book.

These books are a strange mixture. You are taken aback by the action sequences that are sometimes beyond belief but at the same time emotionally connected to a spy who is loosing his family because of his sense of duty.

I have read six of the Agent Zero series so far and found them a great read. My only negative comments are that the author seems to feel he has to use the word "scoffed" at least fifty times in each book, so he needs to find a new word. Also the profanity has increased in this book which is disappointing. Overall though it is an excellent series.

Fantastic series of books. Have read the last 6 back to back and plan to get the next one. The only reason I’ve given this one 4 stars is because I found the heroine really exasperating - it just didn’t seem believable that someone could be quite that pigheaded.

Zero, having left the CIA and got together with Maria, has nothing to do. His daughters have left him under massive clouds then someone reaches out for help. And again Zero is in the thick of it and all the alphabet agencies from home and abroad after him.
Non stop as expected and now have to wait for #7 in the series!! Aaaargh.
