I write MM, MF, and MMF romances. Love is love! Some are paranormal, contemporary, and space opera. While all of my books are romantic and sexy, most lean toward erotic. But three of these books-Foretold, Forecast, and Foresworn are MF Young Adult novels. A complete trilogy that I'm rereleasing after getting my rights back from Harlequin Teen. Dweller on the Threshold is sexy, but not erotic. I love unusual stories and credit growing up in a family of curious life-lovers who moved all over the country. Books and movies full of fantasy, science fiction and romance kept us amused, especially in some of the stranger places. For years, I tried to separate my darker side with my humorous and romantic one. I published short fiction, but things really started happening when I gave in and mixed it up. When not lost in fiction, I love making wine, collecting music, gaming and spending time with my husband and two children.

    I only know Rinda Elliott from co-authoring the Unbreakable series with Jocelynn Drake. This solo effort is equally enjoyable and I liked learning her personal style. I just loved Quincy and Lane as a couple and the fierce connection they forged so quickly. Just a little too quickly, nearly insta-love but I was able to completely buy into it, because of how their characters were shaped. This is pure entertainment with some action scenes, a little on the-run excitement and newly-fledged Robin Hoods.

    There’s also the group of friends Quincy has, cops and former cops, so there’s help available. Lane has no one but he knows of others like himself. It’s not a complicated plot but it’s satisfying, with a nice mix of the revenge plot and the hot-n-heavy romance steaming up the pages. It’s not exactly uber-realistic but the author makes it plausible enough to believe in and enjoy the trajectory of the series story arc. I have a feeling Helix and Gareth might be the MC’s of the next book. I would recommend this first adventure in what seems to be the start of a good series.

    I am a huge Rinda Elliott fan and she is a 1-click for me. Although I am forever in love (and lust) with her two series co-written with Jocelyn Drake (Unbreakable Bonds and Ward Security), I adored this solo effort. I can't wait to see what's next!

    I kept getting pulled out of the story by the "feminine" nature of the characters' voices. It just didn't feel like 2 men in love. I'm not sure I could read another book in the series.

Lane is thief, forced into that life as young teen by a ruthless man when all Lane wanted was to protect his mom. They meet when Lane breaks into the mansion were Quincey works security. Lane is trying to get out of the business but before that he needs to right a wrong. Quincy and Lane have great chemistry.

In addition to this we have an added balance of loyalty from the side characters which are built on a complicated history of difficult complications and amazing friendships, characters which hopefully become stories of their own continuing the series.

    Throughout the story you will be taken on a rollercoaster of emotions with Quincy and Lane, wow so much heat, and I just want more of them. Their level of connection, trust, love and even insecurities is everything! they’re made for each other and definitely won’t disappoint.

    This is one of the best books I have read this year, hands down.I can honestly say I have never read a romance that played out at all like this one does. The story is beautifully written, emotional, intense, and a delicate balance of right/wrong. You can tell that these two are perfect for each other, but their path to happily ever after is sounding really really good. We have introductions to a whole cast of characters that I feel have so much potential for an even bigger and dare I say better path to continue the journey that Quincy and Lane have started.

    Definitely recommend anything by Rinda Elliott, whether as an independent author or in collaboration with her partner in crime Jocelynn Drake !!!!!

    I loved this! It was exciting, interesting, and a bit if a new age take on Robin Hood. The thief (Lane) who is finally free of his blackmailer wants to fix some of what he considers his biggest mistakes, so breaks back into his old boss' house to steal back and return what he stole while being blackmailed. He doesn't expect to run into Quincy, an ex cop trying to take down the crime boss to prove his innocence and get his job back. Quincy didn't anticipate the sheer size of the operation he was trying to take down, nor did he account for the theif that would tick all of his boxes.

    The storyline was fast paced, but not rushed, and there was definitely time for the sexy moments between Lane and Quincy. Talk about hot! Their chemistry was scorching, and the sex even more so!

    I loved how the story progressed, that we got alternating POVs, and the secondary characters as well.

    I look forward to more in this series and will definitely be looking up other works by this author.

    This book was both plenty of fun and surprisingly emotional as two burned men try to work together to take down the man who has destroyed their lives. One is an ex-thief and the other an ex-cop, so while sparks fly there is tension as well.

    Lane has had a difficult history because of what he was blackmailed into at such as young age. From fourteen he has had to be a thief for a man who would destroy everything he loves. A decade under this pressure has not broken Lane, instead giving him time to create an escape plan. But when the entire leverage against him is lifted unexpectedly, he decides to go after some small absolution instead. What he didn't expect was to run into Quincy, an ex-cop looking for justice. While their goals run parallel, everything Quincy wants threatens Lane's smooth getaway. Lane can't walk away from trying to make some amount of right. Quincy can't imagine hurting someone who has already been so abused, even if it will bring a worse man down. And all the while they are being hunted by the very man who they set out to destroy.

    An exciting book from start to finish with promise of more to come, this was an intriguing and heartfelt new series with plenty of Robin Hood like thievery thrown in! A great new read!

    I was very curious about this book when I first heard Rinda was releasing it, I have read a few great books about thieves and I was intrigued. It lived up to my expectations. I loved her supple, sweet , strong thief with a heart of gold and his cop who was trying to clear his name. The story was interesting and in some ways original, which is difficult for this genre and I absolutely loved where it went. There were some fascinating side characters and I’m very interested to see what will happen with Helix, Isaac and Gregory. I hope to find out!
