    I loved this book the first time I read it, and it's even better in audio. This is the single most accurate depiction of a theme park I've ever seen, and the union aspects are also spot on. This is a charming, fun story, that theme park goers are going to love. It's also the only romance book my mother's ever read, and she loved it.

    I’m a big Disney parks fan, so as soon as I saw this cute cover I knew I had to read this book! It was a lot more than the cute romance I expected, with the main plot being theme park employees wanting to start a union & ownership trying to stop it.

    Being manager at Destiny Park is Vanessa’s dream job, but she isn’t on the owner’s side in this fight. At the same time, she and Thomas, one of the long time theme park employees & union leader, are starting to have feelings for each other.

    I enjoyed this short book & the audio narration was great! As a theme parks fan, I really liked how descriptive all areas and other aspects of the parks was, too.

    Roller Coaster Romance is a quick, sweet read set in the whimsical world of Destiny Parks—specifically its Legacy section, which had me itching to hop on a roller coaster myself!

    I really liked Vaness's character and the internal conflict she faces: balancing her dream job with being pressured to spy on her coworkers as management tries to stop a union effort. It’s a compelling angle that adds depth to a light romance.

    While the story was charming and the theme park setting super fun, the book felt too short to allow for meaningful character development. That said, the audiobook was well-narrated and kept me entertained from start to finish.

    Perfect if you’re in the mood for a bite-sized romance with a unique backdrop!

    Even fantasy parks find out there are always problems between management and working crews. I never thought that it could be the subject of a romance book however!
    Author Kate Mosman has shown that discontent/management/work-crews can be a great setting for sweet romance!

    A compelling plan for unionization, a new manager forced to toe the company line, wonderful characters and a believable fictional adventure park combine to create a story that makes you think. There's humor, conflict, and romantic attraction to keep your interest, and a lot of clever strategies as well. I happily read this book in one seating because of the unique combination of content made me want to see how it all resolves! It was a terrific book!

    As a book itself it was ok. Unique story line, decent plot, and I liked Vanessa, but I really didn’t connect to any of the characters. And to me there was really no romance, no spark, no…chemistry? It just didn’t fit into the whole thing. To me if felt forced. Overall it’s an ok book, but I had to rate it 2 stars because of the romance aspect just not being there.

    3/5 stars. Roller Coaster Romance drew me to it because my family is big into theme parks. I thought it would be the perfect fit. The story was a quick read. Vanessa takes a management role at Destiny Park at the same time that workers are starting to unionize the employees. I liked how she struggled with her feelings being torn between trying to be professional in her new role and wanting to help the employees feel heard. The story had a lot of potential but felt a bit rushed. I would recommend it if you’re looking for a palate cleanser between heavier books. The narrator of the audiobook did a great job with bringing the story to life.

It's romantic comedy, slow burn romance, and a bit of workplace suspense all wrapped up together. The characters are all a bit mysterious, and you never quite know who's going to do what until it comes down to the wire. You can't help but root for Vanessa and Thomas, though, who are intelligent, fundamentally good people placed in opposition to each other by the higher-ups. Their gentle flirtation warms the heart.

    Fun with a serious edge. The new legacy manager has her work cut out when taking her new job. Once given the job she finds there is a unionisation issue at her place of work and that the management is against it. on the ground she sees the real reason employees are being driven that way. Health and safety issues being prime issues of contention. it doesn't help the sizzling heat between her and the area trainer, that continues to build. twists and turns and the guy gets his girl in the end

    Definitely not a romance it was mostly about Unions, wasn’t funny either, sad in parts. Thomas liked Vanessa and vice versa but they were more involved against Management who were against Unions. It was a cut off ending too.
