Say Yule Be Mine Kindle Edition

4.1 4.1 out of 5 stars 46 ratings

Stephen hates Christmas with a passion. It’s one of those holidays he just wishes could be erased from the calendar, forever.

Especially after last year when he was looking forward to spending Christmas with the man he loved enjoying the festivities and exchanging gifts. Only Stephen was given a gift he wished he could return, but there was no receipt.

Fast forward a year, and so much has changed. Stephen is single and moving on with his life. One night while working at a Christmas Party in a swanky hotel, he gets a little more than he bargained for after an encounter with one of the guests, except he’s left with nothing other than the memory of the feeling of lips on his body and a man he desperately wants to know better.

Will their paths cross again? Maybe this year Santa Claus might just give him something he actually wants to open on Christmas morning.

Born and bred in the city of Leeds in the UK, Louisa is fiercely proud of her northern roots and heritage.

She has been an avid reader since a very early age, and has fond memories of weekly visits to her local library with her dad, but credits both her parents for instilling a love of reading and books which has never left.

Louisa hadn’t really thought about writing in her adult life until one day she fell down a rabbit hole and landed in the world of fanfiction. After reading so many, and making online friends through the medium, she found herself taking the leap and publishing stories online.

The switch to original fiction came through the support and encouragement of her friend, Nicole Colville, who put together a charity anthology called Confidential Encounters, which was published in June 2016 and contained Louisa’s first published novella, Below The Line, which went on to be picked up for German translation, making Louisa a bestseller on Amazon Germany.

Thankfully the voices have continued to whisper into her ears ever since and while ever the men talk, Louisa will listen.

Writing their stories and bringing them to life for people to enjoy. The journey might not always be easy as she’s a self confessed lover of angst, but where’s the fun in things being easy? Whatever the story, rest assured, Louisa will bring you a story she would want to read herself.

Keep in touch via all the usual social media channels, or sign up to Louisa’s newsletter to find out the very latest.

Unofficial Bio

Born in Hull shortly before her third birthday to a pair of Nicaraguan cuttlefish. Louisa was 80% cream cheese by the time she was 9.

A stint as a Astronaut in her early teens convinced her she wanted to be a writer and by the age of 18 she had learned to write her own name.

Capable of consuming up to 13 litres of wine during breakfast, Louisa holds the current world record for largest eyelash collection.

This was a nice quick Christmas read. Stephen and James had sizzling chemistry. The supporting cast made me curious if they have their own story. Thank you for an enjoyable, sweet story!

This story is two men who have a connection but get interrupted. But they finally have the chance to get together and it seems to work out really well.

They do say " never say never ".

Stephen never wanted to live through another Christmas Day ever again.
For Stephen that day will always be full of heart wrenching memories,
so as not to be alone with his thoughts he prefers to work, any place he can.

During another Christmas season Stephen is working hard, getting on
with his life , still in a bah humbug ," l hate Christmas "mood.
While serving some guests during work an unexpected incident happens.
An incident that has left Stephen shocked in every wonderful way.

Has the festive frolic made a dent in his mood ?
Will there be more to follow, or will his bad luck continue ?
Was that a Christmas miracle ? A once in a lifetime beautiful mirage ?

I really enjoyed meeting up with characters from the authors previous books.
I feel like l've met up with family after a long time away.
This book is a sweet, short, feel good, festive read.

A chance encounter. A mysterious “tall, thin, and drop dead gorgeous” man. His whispering words of “don’t move”. The locking of a door. A breathless statement of, “Now we won’t be disturbed”. All set the stage for Say Yule Be Mine by Lousia Mae.

Stephen hates Christmas. Who can blame him especially after his world fell apart on Christmas Eve last year? Supplementing his income by working at the Rainbow Rooms, Stephen is filling his remaining holiday free time as a cater/waiter for the holidays glitz and glam. He detests the shenanigans, ass grabbing, and drunken come-ons associated with the sorry excuse of attendees at these corporate Christmas parties.

Stephen is not one to accept a party guest’s advances, who wants that in a dirty bathroom? However, an aggressive coatroom kiss literally sweeps him off his feet as arousal courses through his veins. Unfortunately, the man is gone before Stephen can get his name and number. Surmising all is lost, Stephen accepts he will be alone this holiday season, solidifying his belief that all men are pigs.

Fate must be playing a cruel joke on Stephen as his path with Mr. Drop Dead Gorgeous crosses yet again, with no name and/or numbers exchanging. Thank goodness for friends and their intervention that brings the magic of Christmas back into Stephen’s heart. Albeit after the past threatens the future with an untimely reveal.

Powerful and moving, Say Yule Be Mine hugs your heart while defrosting Stephens as it twists and turns from one encounter to the next. Sometimes hot and sexy, other times warm and gentle, culminating in a combination of both, Say Yule Be Mine is a splendid, if not mysterious, magical Christmas adventure.

If you are looking for a short, quick but fun Christmas read then this is the book for you.
Stephen hates the festive period after a traumatic betrayal leaves him with bad memories, but will that all change after a recent encounter with a nameless stranger at a work event one night?
Not gonna lie, Ryan deserved more than he got for sure! And Stephen deserved all the happiness in the world.
