    I'm at a loss for words but in a good way. This book was a non stop page turner for me. Received book for free and highly recommend if you love mpreg with a hot Alpha and a not so shy Beta. Lots of steamy sex with equal action as Peter and John get their second chance at aHEA. Lots of twist and turns and I've read a lot of mpreg but L.C. managed to make this book completely different from every other mpreg book out there. Very little errors, not enough to distract from story.

    My first MPreg read and I'm so bummed out. I had a bunch of question on how it worked and felt robbed by the outcome. I didn't even get a natural birth. I wanted to know where the baby would come out of. Childish, I know but hey I was curious. I really wanted a whole fake science explanation on how the whole dude pregnancy worked out. I got nothing. Boo! LOL

    As to the story it went a little something like this:
    Couple spends 3 years apart
    Couple reunites
    Couple get separated by revenge seeking brother
    Couple gets reunited again
    Couple's relationship is filled with tension due to pregnancy
    Couple resolve problems
    Baby is born
    Couple gets their HEA
    The End
    Sure there was more to it than that but that's the gist of it. There was a lot of melodrama and for a book called Second Chance Valentine, I expected more hearts and candy. Instead I got blood and violence.

    This was a fantastic read. I loved the two main characters, the story was intense, the villain multifaceted and I loved how it pulled in other characters. However I had to drop a star because more than once they wrote “John” when they meant to write “Peter” and it threw me out of the story every time. Without those editing errors it would’ve been a solid 5
