    Dan has a way of adding some humor into his writing along with his knowledge of a myriad of other interesting subjects. In this Luca mystery he includes his knowledge of wine. I have thoroughly enjoyed all his books I have read and hope that his writing sessions in Naples, Florida continue along with Luca's search for a permanent residence!     This was the first Luca novel I had read. I don’t know if there was any background from the first two Luca novels needed to feel fully invested in this third novel, but I felt at a loss most of the time. The idea behind the story was good, but something was missing, as in character depth. Doubt I will read any more of this series.
